(2406) Sanctuary

[Eidolon]

Eidolon just observes as Corn pretty much goes against everything, he stated about helping others, as he puts his number in code. When Philip does the same, he wonders if he is doing so just to piss off Corn or to show off. Either way he is tempted to solve both codes and write their numbers underneath. Not that he has to solve Philips already having his number.

"Seeing as we have shared our contact information. Is there anything else on the agenda today that us newcomers need to know!" Eidolon states in a loud tone with a hint of sarcasm.

[Corn]

Corn just nods to those that solved the riddle, magic or not.

Sorry for the short post; I just post to keep things moving.

[Winter]

The riddle doesn't interest him. Corn had been so open with details about his life that he was almost thinking he was some sort of walk-in agent.
Regardless, you want to stay away from ticking bombs.

"Yes, there's some official business, I think", he looks at Chambes, "if I remember the last month's meeting right"

[Philip Crosen]

Salem gets a surprised look. Then again, he hadn`t been too forthcoming with his info, so his reaction was somewhat understandable. After all, he was going against type to eagerly humor Corn, teach him a lesson, and also answer the challenge he`d thrown by looking at him. Philip was having fun poking holes in Corn`s `Right Exchange` protocol, which by now was as much of a joke as so much else. But it seemed clear to Philip that Joyeuse, Salem and Chambers were not amused by his antics.
"What?"
He asked Salem.
"What`s wrong with making a game out of giving my number? It`s good sport and I was just kidding around. Anyone here can have my number. You just need to ask. And besides, Corn started it."
he said, somewhat surprised, expecting the others to have seen the way Corn looked at him, before continuing much less seriously in his mind.
After all, `a contract is a contract is a contract, but only among Ferengi.`
in his best Quark expression, looking at Corn and back and forth between him and Salem in a subtle jab at Corn`s, and by extension the whole Mysterium`s, hypocrisy with their Right Exchange joke of a procotol, in Philip`s mind at least.
But his internally humorous demeanor only lasted until Eidolon got a shrug from him for his sarcastic comment and Winter answered Eidolon seriously. So Philip also became more serious and answered him as well.
"Nope, not really. But I`m sure we can have a discussion about whatever you want to know later."

Corn and Philip were either being ignored or judged for their actions and honestly to his mind that was for the best. He had said his piece noting his disagreement with them and so joins the camp of ignoring the childish actions from this point forward. The flair of magic sets him on a edge for a moment he had not expected it, but clearly someone felt perturbed enough to have worked their will to do something. Lets hope this doesn't get out of hand.

Looking to Winter as the mage addresses him. ''Official business, is on the board. My summary from April and the Agenda for July.'' Turning to Eidolon so he knows his question is also being addressed. ''We had nothing official scheduled for today but that doesn't stop people talking about whatever they want, just no decisions will be reached.'' Part of the point of the agenda was to get people talking, discussing working things out for themselves and ideally serve as a way to see what concerns they have before hand. ''So feel free to ask if something is on the corkboard is unclear. Or if you have more general questions.'' He mages to find his warmer smile for the Warlock.

Looking around collectively. ''Beyond that there are some plans for a summer cook out here at the circle.'' A nice easy topic. ''Given the meeting is in July I was thinking August would be best?'' Phrased as a question to try and steer the conversation.

[Corn]

Corn gave a shrug at @Phillip 's jab, somewhat amused. When Chambers mentions to Eidolon and Salem about the cookout, Corn adds "For the cookout there are a few things needed to be taken care of, but nothing major. Chambers has listed everything in the corkboard."

[Joyeuse]

Joyeuse had been gazing at the board for some time, though they catch Salem's comment of desiring to meet down the line as well. The Arrow grants him a glancing, a brief smile, and a nod before returning to their study of the corkboard for several long moments as the others chatter around them.

Blinking their eyes as they got out of their reverie, the Arrow again turned their attention to their fellow Awakened.

"Hmm, I'm not much of a cook, I'm afraid," they admit as they glance back to the unclaimed dishes for the cookout, "but I am more than willing to bring chips and dip."

Adjusting their cuffs, Joyeuse clears their throat lightly.

"It has been lovely meeting you all, but my efforts over these last few weeks have left me a little tired," they say, "I believe I will have to give those living quarters a spin after all. That said, I look forward to working with you all and, of course, to discussing the agenda come July. If you need my assistance in the mean time, do not hesitate to reach out."

With that, Joyeuse turns and departs, heading for the Arrow's Tower.

[Salem]

Salem and his fellow Warlock seem to have very similar minds about the coded numbers put forth by their compatriots. He's not sure if he's going to write the numbers down at the moment but the idea of it is still a sour taste in his mouth. He nods in agreement to Eidolon's statement, looking around for possible answers to it.

He looks past Corn, still a bit upset for the trend he started and instead turns to Winter at his words. His gaze follows his to Chambers now.

He ignores Philip's response for now, not wanting to get too upset with his fellow Voter. Besides, the man's right, the Moros did start it.

Salem nods to Chambers's words, not really having any true questions of his own at the moment. When the topic of the cookout comes up, he gives a small nod of his head. "I will have to see if I'm available but I will try to attend. Autumn's gonna be a busy month for me with classes starting up but if I have enough forewarning and it's planned for a weekend, I should be able to set aside some time for it. I can bring the burgers and buns," he offers.

He turns to watch as the androgynous Arrow takes their leave, flashing them a smile and a wave. "Rest well."
