(2207) Consilium

[Belle]

Belle decides to dress understated yet formal for this Consilium. Given what might occur today, it wouldn't hurt to look a bit professional. A blue blazer over a white shirt and light dress pants with dress flats (she agonized over wearing heels, but decided that the 'clickety-clack' on the floor would just distract her today). The Warlock makes sure she's wearing her best smile (her most important accoutrement) as she enters the room. And already she's greeted with a number of friendly and familiar faces. Yep. Still the best place to be. "Hello everyone!" She greets the room with a grin born of something between great expectations and a refusal to settle for anything less than the best day ever.

She even manages a wave towards Apollo as she comes in, given that she could hardly miss the towering Shaman. "What up, Apollo?" She gravitates towards Crystal, her Warlock mentor, and gives him a hearty shoulder pat. ​"Crystal! You almost look happy to be here? Somebody responsible for that?" She gives him a cheeky, more relaxed smile, genuinely glad to see him. She also gives Phoenyx a quick, friendly wink to make sure the Arrow knows that she's very much welcome here.

[Crystal]

Crystal was by no means an empath, but even he could sense the tension in Aurora when she walked in. So he gave her a hopeful thumbs-up and a look that was the definition of 'shared misery'. "Afternoon, you." With whom was there right now he felt safe enough to mutter. "This will pass and then we'll get shitfaced, okay?"

Phoenyx had some business to call out? Sounded good. She got to her point quickly whenever she talked and Crystal was just glad he didn't have to bring up anything himself today. And if someone else talked then that'd mean that-
Aww shit. Corn had already announced that he would have something contentious to bring up. "Just.. you know. Don't get yourself worked up." A friendly advice because he did like Corn somehow, but Crystal couldn't hide the slight annoyance in his voice.
The thumbs-up was back when Aurora suggested the open bar, this time far more enthusiastically.

Apollo entered. He was mostly an unknown for Crystal, so he kept his greeting brief. "Hey Apollo, right?"
Next was Belle - a somewhat known variable. But seeing her wide grin made Crystal roll his eyes mentally. He knew about Belle's gung-ho attitude, he just didn't get it. "Hey Belle. Careful there, you seem to be suffering from hallucinations. What did I tell you about mushrooms and official meetings?" Fuck him if her attitude wasn't at least a bit infectious.

[Corn]

To Aurora , he replied with a shrug "I would love to, but when certain accusations are made, one has to reply. I will try to not participate in any arguments today." Not a great chance but he promised to try. Last time he was congratulating Aurora for her mastery and suddenly called a Nazi. He still didn't think that standing up for himself after months of slander was wrong.
Apollo arrived and Corn gave him a nod. "Greetings Apollo. I am still waiting for you to pick the venue for a meeting. Nevermore has also expressed interest in meeting for a beer. I don't know if the days will work for you, but I have no problem meeting you together or separate, whatever works. Send me a text when you want to meet. "

He saw that Belle came prepared. Good. He gives her a warm smile and a short compliment "Belle, you're a sight for sore eyes." but doesn't interfere with her more. Let her mingle and socialize. It can only help.

[Puck]

Puck finds his way to the circle, and for once he wasn't almost late. By no means early mind you, but not his usual lack of timeliness either. Maybe it was the talk of mushrooms, maybe he just wanted to get things over with. He wasn't expecting much trouble from three of the other four councilors. The fourth? Guess what his thoughts are there.

As the Enchanter made his way in with his semiformal wear a golden glyph lifts from his pattern. Blue lines flow like a stream to form a replacement as his connection to Arcadia flows with a strength he could only take as an omen for his actions today. The darkness of the Void is vanquished as Truth reinforces his words with a purpose and power sleepers could only dream of. Anyone who wanted to convince him of their rightness would have an uphill battle ahead of them. Arcadia itself smiled on him, and any who would choose to speak against him would speak against the Truth itself.

"Sup?" He says with a chin up to Apollo. The councilor makes his way to the sanctuary otherwise silent, clearly about as thrilled as anyone else to be here.

Apollo smiled at Belle and Crystal "Yeah that's right. Belle and Crystal right? Sorry I'm still learning names. We should invest in name badges" He was only half joking. Internally he chuckled and imagined that Puck and Crystal may hate a hello my name is... badge.

Apollo gave Puck a nod, his eyes following Pucks movement before turning back to the group. For a brief moment there was a small look of concern that he was either not hiding or failing to do so. Whatever the concern he put a pin in it for later.

"So what's the agenda for today's meeting?" It was code for any drama / contentious issues?

[Zeromancer]

Zeromancer entered the Consilium, a little late but it was no worry to him, he had to keep up appearances in the mundane so no one would suspect him of having a secret life. As he entered he gave everyone a quick nod and sorry wave.\

"Sorry for being late guys, my podcast ran a little late."

Nods and greets were exchanged with those that offered them.

The Shaman decides to stop replying to Corn about the whole fucking thing. The whole lead horses to water thing.

For now, she didn’t have anything to add to anyone, and was content to see how the shitshow meeting went.

As if summoned by his name, the Obrimos slipped into Consillium, dressed in his sharp suit that hung slightly loose on his hunger pang-frame.

If prior social gatherings were to be believed, it would be one hell of a show.
