Chivalry? Oh Lord. Not Worm. He's so far from being a knight that the Colonel actually laughs at Sonnie's exclamation. Nothing feels better than a blade in his hand. But that doesn't make him honorable. Not by a long shot.

As if to illustrate that point, the Goblin eyes Fugly's efforts at micturition, turns back to Sonnie: "Fuh-Beautiful's got a strong stream. Very impressive specimen you have there. Hang on to that one." He gives the Beast a lop-sided grin.

Sera's interest in knife-play makes Worm's hand itch. His love of all things sharp and pointy boarders on addiction. "You're asking the right Goblin. I'm available for stick-and-poke practice at any time. Knives, swords, spears, forks, whatever you want to swing around, I'm game." He doesn't address the sparring comment, not out loud at least. He simply gives Sera a wink. However far she's willing to go, Worm'll be there.

To Liam now: "You set them up, and we'll knock them down together. I'm happy to cover the cost of supplies. How does that sound? And if you're ever looking to experiment with a new concoction? I'm very adventurous." If it gives you a buzz, Worm isn't one to be picky.

As if just remembering something important, Worm turns to Seraphina "Oh! That Stone thing! Circe mentioned something about it when we met earlier...That I need to be 'stoned in' or something?"

The Colonel looks puzzled, but amused, "What's up with all that?"

Sorry to double post. Just thought it was best to get Worm on the road to stone-town given Saber Sloth's reminder.

Looking up from Fugly, “Oh yes, the stone.” Then a laugh, “In a way, maybe?” it was an amusing way to look at it.

Standing, dusting her butt off, “The Freehold has issues with a Freehold wide Oath, they don’t take. So we were able to acquire a stone that once touched and infused with your Glamour, will, in a way, tell us you’re safe to trust. It rejects those that are working for Them.” Looking around, “I can explain in more detail if you want to follow me, I’ll take you to it, and we’ll get you all set.”

I can set up a separate thread for Worm and Sera going to the Wyrd Stone if everyone is ok with that

Sonnie, eventually realizing that staying on Liam's shoulder would get awkward over time, decided to hop back down to the ground.

"Oh, yeah, you should get that Stone thing dealt with, Sanders." She had every intention of keeping an eye on the Wizened until he did so, especially when he was around her Queen.

The Beast knelt down to pet her dog. Glancing back to Liam, she smiled, "So do you eat, like, normal? Or do you absorb nutrients from the earth through your toes?" Her question sounded innocent, like the sort of thing a kid would ask.

Worm follows Sera's lead and stands, listening as she explains the mysterious stone.

"Well that sounds like one useful rock," he says with a chuckle. "Let's go take a look, huh?"

It then hits Liam like a thunderclap that he hadn't seen Worm at the Coronation, so he wouldn't have met the Wyrdstone. "Oh shoot! That's right; you need to get your Oath done. Sorry for holding you up, pal."
The Giant rolls his shoulders as Sonnie dismounts, adjusting to the lack of passengers. He gives Worm a salute; "Catch you later, Worm. Glad to know ya". He gives Sera a nod and a broad smile, content to leave the formalities behind at least for the moment. "Glad to see you too, Sera".
Sonnie's question elicits a chuckle from Liam. "Ha! I wish. No, I'm just as much of an omnivore as you". He didn't mention that in his time as a treant in Arcadia, he'd subsisted mostly on tree-dwelling pest creatures. The last thing he wanted was to scare the Monkey away. He gives her a pat on the shoulder, as a parent would to a familiar child. "Thanks for the chat, Sonnie. And seriously, if you need an extra hand...or a mid-sized perch...just let me know". He reaches down and gives Fugly as gentle a scratch behind the ears as an Ogre could; "And a sincere thanks to you, Fugly, for not peeing on me".

Absolutely! Go get stoned you madcap! Thanks to everyone for indulging this little get-together!

Sera nods and makes sure Sonnie got down ok. Not that there was any doubt, but cause she worried. It's what she does, worry about those she cares about.

A nod was then given to Rhodes . In case he was looking for her and didn't see her.

Gesture to Worm, she leads him away.

"Anytime, my dude!" She smiled at Liam. "Now, if you'll excuse us, me and the mighty guard dog here are gonna go stand stoicly by the side of our Queen!" Sonnie winked and headed off after Sera and Worm. Fugly trotted along with her. A Claviger's work is never done.

Like, literally.

Unless the monarch dies. That's a sure way to get fired.

As Sera and Worm depart, with Sonnie and Fugly in tow. Liam breathes a long, perhaps a little tree-ish, sigh of contentment.
"Yep; feels like home".
And with that, the Giant continues his wanderings down the Freeway to see what other Lost may yet be enjoying the cool evening.
