Kaze smiles as Eulogy takes an interest in Guru's crops. Then Eulogy asks if Guru is growing pot. Interesting. Campanella comes over to him then, I guess to talk about...stuff.
Aurora makes a funny joke about talking about someone, and then they show up. Only it makes him wish bringing up Rose would bring her back. But not really; not against her will. She was always honest about the fact that she wasn't planning on sticking around.
Huh. French, Latin and targeting Arabic. Aurora is always an inspiration to him. He reflects on his Chinese language studies, long neglected and never very far along to begin with. Someday.
Huh again. Campanella says they met in a graveyard. And then comments that there's no enemies in town. And then highly recommends Guru's stuff! He seems like he's in a good mood, especially for someone who's whole Cabal seems to have left town. Guess he's comfortable being a loner.
Man, Corn is totally into robes.
Guru really seems serious, like he's got something serious going on! Kaze can't remember seeing him that way, even when they were hunting a soul sucking giant spider in a haunted house! Oh, wait. When the cops showed up at Paradise Beach. He was pretty serious then....
He sounds serious about hunting mushrooms. Kaze wonders if Guru ever changes shape, like to a pig, to find them better. He remembers pigs were supposed to be able to be trained to do that.
Campanella is into the robe thing too! Or just in a really good mood in general.
Wow. Puck is talking about Spanish, and then all of a sudden it's 'radio free here are the mages, come and get us'! He really doesn't seem to see a security problem there. Interesting. Maybe he figures he's lucky enough, it wouldn't be a problem. For him.
Annnd, Crystal's here! Kaze grins and nods as Crustal talks with Corn and says something to Aurora and then comes and sits by him. It's a nice feeling, to feel comfortable like that.
Kaze pats his side and shoulders and head. "Yeah, all here." He says, laughing when Crystal asks after his health. Or maybe he's saying Kaze's mind and specifically his judgement isn't all there. It's a supernatural world. Gotta deal. He feels sympathy for his friend, that he doesn't seem to really see the wonder of it all, just the darkness and danger, which, yeah, is definitely a thing too.
Corn gets it. The security thing. It's funny, he seems like a classic, 'Ivory Tower Academic', but then he worries about something or takes a precaution like a pro. Maybe he just has good instincts. Or, yeah, they don't call it 'Wisdom' form no reason, I guess.
Wow, gotta remember to keep an eye on Campanella. He seems to be toying with Corn, not in a mean way or anything, but still, something to keep an eye out for.
