Rhodes should have taken a chance too, doubt Combat Marksmanship or Quick Draw count towards this :(

I didn't think this was a roll for the whole thing? I thought it was just that round, so Rhodes would have been bidding against circe and Sera?
"SOLD!" the Tall Man shouts towards green skinned, greying haired women who holds up a 118. "To the Lady Deathhammer!"
There is many grumbles and shouted words, but none could out bid the Oricish women's ridiculously high bid.
After the Wyrdstone's taken off the stage, rolled away by those squat hobs towards the women the Tall Man called Deathhammer, those within the Church Action, gather their winnings, and slowly make their way out back into the Hedge, or towards the Mortal side of things.
For the Lost who lost out of what they came for, they now stood at a crossroads. Go to Deathhammer, and talk her into allowing them the Wyrdstone, or bypassing words entirely and simply taking what the Freehold desperately needs...
Just wanted to give everyone a chance to out bid my roll
And I figured that rolling would be faster then several posts bidding back and forth
Now I need to know if y'all wanna try and talk to Deathhammer, or do y'all wanna head into a Heist!
And just like that, they were outbid! By Lady….Deathhammer? Which did not sound like a pleasant name or a pleasant Ling.
The Nix watches, deciding on what was next. They couldn’t let that stone leave with someone else. The Freehold needed it.
So does she try and charm this Deathhammer, or do they try and figure a way to steal it? Or both?
Sera was great at being a distraction, if she did that, the other two could figure a way to steal it!
Leaning over to Circe and Rhodes, “I was thinking of going and speaking with the fine Lady, perhaps there is something the two of you could acquire through that?”
"Dio, dannazione, cazzo." This was a big hassle. And Lady Deathhammer? Circe doubted they'd be lucky enough for the name to be ironic. Eying the muscular woman Circe concluded, "Yummy muscle, uh I mean, not an ironic name."
Circe would have to agree with Seraphina's plan. "Yes. We can learn something of her temperament. Also see if she is willing to resell it. With a name like that? Offer arms and armor, maybe a favor. Hedgespun stuff by a Queen of Summer. I would gave my word and oath ta get close ta her, um, ta get the stone, yeah that. Or guns. See if she wants a Tommy Gun. I, hmmm, " Circe thinks for a moment then nods her head, "Yes I can get one of those. They look damn cool so she might go fer that. Or both."
Rhodes sighs, and nods. "Worth a try, darling." He looks to Circe, smirking. "Not going to be... distracted, are you Cice?" he remarks wryly.
The venue slowly looses their attendees, though the Lady Deathhammer remains where she was. Sitting elegantly in her pew. The numbers she'd used for auction laying beside her. The Lost, now closer, see the Ogress clearly. They can tell her hair had once been a rich and deep brown, now was more white then grey. Her eyes, twin jewels, shinning out from her face, surrounded by eyes used to crinkling. Her face a landscape of wrinkles and pockmarks. Her lips, a rich green, and there is a smile seen around her tusks.
If they have an eye for labels, the Ogress is wearing designer, everything. High quality and hand made. Though some items, do gleam with the fantastical of the Hedge.
"So, you want my stone." she says, before they get a chance to speak.
Seems she was expecting them. Sera could work with that.
A smile appears on her lips as she stops at a respectful distance. She didn’t know who the Lady was, or what her standing could be, so best play it safe.
“Lady Deathhammer was it?” comes the angelic voice, “I’m Seraphina.” She’d play it honest for now. “To be honest? Yes. And I was curious if you’d be willing to discuss a trade or barter for it.”
The older Ogress nods, a smile stretching her lips.
"It is." she bows her head, not offing a first name. "You're honest, and willing to offer for what you want. Yes. I will barter with you."
She laughs, at whatever looks appear upon the Lost's faces.
"Now, what have you to offer me for my Stone you very much want."
Well, Lady Deathhammer it was. So much for friendly chatter, but, she could work with it.
“I always believe in being honest. Makes things easier, and there is less I have to try and remember.” If you lied, you needed to remember the lies.
“Thank you.” Ok, so the tables were open.
“Now what I have to offer varies depending on what you need and want. You have me at a disadvantage, knowing what I desire.” See, honest. And while she could toss a Contract, she didn’t want to yet. “As a Lady, you are clearly someone of importance, and one of refined tastes. And I do not wish to insult them.” Oh no, that wouldn’t be good. “Tell me Lady Deathhammer, is jewelry something that catches your eyes?" throw the thought out there, see if it was something she liked. Then add Hedgespun to it.
