    The other locked in its structure, and with a final push of her body weight, the struggle came to its end. The knife buried deep in Blackbird's torpid chest, Lina Moretti guided her fallen student to the ground and let out a primal cry of anguish...

    Blackbird is in Torpor. This scene concludes and will be immediately followed by another.
