Still Sane, at Least
No crazy yet
As the other Mages get out of Dodge, and make their way through the crowd outside the arriving emergency services, Joshua Morris is left behind, alone to hopefully clean up the mess-after-the-mess. His last cursory inspection of the Banishers' room reveals nothing more of interest, save a pair of thoroughly soaked and watterlogged bear paws slippers. It's quite probably they'll never make anyone else's feet warm again. Ever. The rest is groceries stashed like the Banishers intended to hole up here for quite a while, and signs that they had already been here for a while. To the Sentinel's eyes, it can be left as is without an overt clue of the Supernal in sight.
While he makes his way down the fateful stairwell, he gets one last look at the battlefield, and the last remains of the fight. Purity's bow, and the arrow scars in walls and pipes and flooring. Luckily, the blood and guts and shed skin and scents of fear and despair and death, the water has cleansed away for him. The weapon, he stows away, where hopefully the Sleeper authorities won't stumble on it. The minor damage dealt to the stairwell, from both arrows and acid, looks minor enough to pass as wear and tear. Unusually localized wear and tear, but after the exhaustion of the past few minutes, Joshua is quite past being able to put it all back as it was.
Finally, tired, battered, and thinking he'll never be dry again for the rest of his life, the Sentinel is able to leave the scene. A few minutes later, the last hint of a Supernal human has left the scene, for the Sleepers to put together what happened. Or hopefully not.
Good job everyone, thanks very much.
