This is for Animus's group, going into Recreation and Parks.

And last, a reminder to keep your sigs updated with spells and co. If it ain't written there, I don't see it.

Before leaving the coffee shop, Ash made sure he visited the little massive boy's room to get prepared, bringing an aura of Death down upon himself three-fold; to see the weight of Death, to protect his weak flesh and to perceive the stains of one's soul. Cracking out his neck, Ash had quickly joined the others and followed his Hierarch and this Brent guy in silence.

Animus seems content to forgo any mystical preparations. Then again, given the thick web of spells already twining through his pattern, he's probably not missing much. As he walks, he tries to keep an eye on the flow of the Ley Lines. Anything that might help narrow down the search ...

Brent heads out with the others, having done all the preperation he needed. He smiled at the ghost of his grandmother. They were both keeping an eye out for anything out of place, other mages showing up or even just people that seemed to be watching them.

Ash continued to walk with the full intention of doing so in absolute silence but then a stray (some might say paranoid) thought entered his mind; Who the fuck is this Brent-guy?

"How long have you been in Sac, Brent?" Ash asked, trying to appear natural, like he was simply chewing the breeze, and not like a douche with trust issues.

"I was born here." Brent replied. "Been going back and forward to England for the past year though."

"England? No shit," Ash said with obvious surprise. "Where I come from. Well, I think it was," he added, glancing towards Animus. "Its all a bit hazy now."

He let his words linger, trying to think back. It was no good. Just one more sacrifice.

"What's the play, Animus?" Ash asked, changing conversation.

The group make their way through the building, to the parks and recreation section. There are a few maps adorning the walls, showing the different parks in the city, sometimes with a summary of traffic analysis on the different footpaths. On one of the walls is a memorial to three deceased employees, adorned with flowers and other small trinkets to remember them by.

Despite the low thrum of bureaucrats going about their business, a reassuring hum of humanity getting things done, there's something in the air. An aura of worry, of oppression. There might even be some death behind it, with even a touch of decay. Someone also forgot to fill the department coffee machine. That might have something to do with it.

Animus catches glimpses of the local ley lines, mostly very minor ones, weaving their way through the cubicles. There are a pair headed in roughly the same direction, the printer room by the looks of it.

Animus sniffs the air, reacting to the aura permeating the place. The Thyrsus seems to shrink inward just a touch as he calls his familiar to him. His gaze flicks to one of the lines for the barest instant before sliding off again as he glances back to Ash. "They anchor the lines. Follow them, and it'll focus the search. But we're looking for an office with blueprints, unless they've moved it recently."

As he finishes speaking, Animus begins walking toward the printer room, slow enough to not cut off conversation. He fights back the urge to brush Guards-the-Pack's fur. With this many people around, it'd simply be too conspicuous.

Ash stopped briefly by the memorial on the wall to read the names of the employees that had passed on, and uttered each one under his breath in remeberance. The touch of death wasn't new to the Moros, hell, it was what he had grown accustomed to, but to feel it in a building like this seemed extremely worrying.

It made Ash think back to Granite Park and the wayward Necromancer that had to be stopped. Animus has been there too. Actually, if it wasn't for the Hierarch, Ash was certain he wouldn't have made it through that little scuffle.

He caught back up to Animus and Brent, nodding at the Hierarch's words, words that held far more experience with such matters than Ash. In the end, the Moros done what he was told. He looked for blueprints.

Oh, and trouble. It never seemed tha far away when Animus was involved.
