Circe had her forge running, with two things to make. First, was the plating for the armored-up hoodie. That was something she was familiar with and was getting good at she thought. She needed to bang that out to get it to Seraphina.

She was quite glad for Sera. Coffee and sewing services? Great!

She'd get the plates done, drop them off with Seraphina, and then get to work on the sword. Sure, she could have asked for help directly, but that was a Catch 22. Many hands light the work, but solo halves the time.

Hour and a half later

After all the work, Circe needed a break from the heat. Conveniently, she got to drive to Seraphina and drop off the hoodie and the plates to be added to it. She'd trust the Fairest fashionista to do a great job. Probably have the Hoodies compete over who got her more comfortable armored hoodie instead of those crafted by Circe.

Coffee, drive, and back to the forge to make the stupid sword she promised. A sword should not be hard. Pointy end, sharp on two sides, solid pommel, very simple as could be. Circe knew not the difference between scimitar, cutlass, longsword, bastard sword, or foil, though she knew what a Buster Sword was.

She shouldn't negotiate when tired. It made her have extra work. Too late now and such, the grumbling, blazing Larcenist had to get back to hammering and sweating.

45 min, fast!

What she ended up with was a basic longsword. Simple yet effective design. Basic but not fragile. Well, that was the bribes done. Bath now. Because she stank.
