Apple devoured, Sonnie turned her attention to the rest of the harvest that Anatole had provided for the freehold. First she helped herself to some fresh bread and butter, and then the pies caught her eye. Oh, and the meats!

"This is a great spread!" she said absently, as she sniffed at the pies.

For the most part, the Nix seemed content to enjoy the spread she had on her plate. Popping pieces into her mouth and listening to the conversation.

Currently, she didn’t have anything to add. But does smile and nod when Sonnie says it was a great spread. It truly was, “Autumn has been very generous to the Freehold.”

[Circe]

"Sweet Anatole, waaaait," she thinks in thought, "Distilled cactus juice doesn't drop kick my intestines. Nor does honey. But beer and wine do? Seriamente, che cazzo? Maybe I should try absence. Or kunai? No, kooper, uh, kumis! Not sure about moonshine, too flammable. Or inflammable? Forget which, not the relevant."


She nods to Jasper, and proceeds to start twirling some object in her hand. Which turns into a add hammer. Then a wrench. Then pliers. "Oh, I have the right tool for the right job, I guarantee it."


"Like I said Anatole," she raises her glass to him, "Yer awesome my bro. Hail ta the Harvest King. I salute you!"


And she drinks the mead.

Anatole smiles and lifts his hand. Too many compliments, perhaps. He hides behind the mountain of food, tucks in himself, and enjoys the pleasure taken from giving to others.

[Vincent Black]

Vincent stayed quiet and enjoyed his meal. He was happy to be around friends and he looked forward to seeing what the new king of autumn would bring. He knew he might have to speak to him eventually about his lower court but now was not the time. Now was the time to celebrate.

[Jasper]

Jasper is distracted by food, like any man who lives on the street would be, but he still tries to keep up with what's going on around him.

His ears perk up at the little device that Circe swings around and he grins. "Nifty. Looks mighty useful."
