[Circe]

Circe nods when Seraphina mentions the leadership and solution. It was true. Then smiles as she approves of the method that netted Circe the crown of Summer. Cole though? "Wait, Cole! The, uh, knife nut with the glass jaw, right? He was an asshole."


Well, Circe hadn't gotten along with him or his general friend that borrowed Summer's crown for a season.


"Why cross the bridge? I've a dynamite solution," Circe has a massive smile and gives two thumbs up as she says this. The metaphor was going lost. "Or just catapult across it. Maybe steal, erm, borrow a jet-ski. Bypass that bridge...uh, I forget, uh, where I was going with this metaphor. Hope it was entertaining!"


Circe shrugs and sips her spiked cocoa. "Trust, yeah that is important. If ya want like weapons or armor fer, uh, some resistance cache just in case, let me know. Weeeeell," Circe tilts her head, "Let me know what ya want, not where it is. Not much point in a secret anti-tyrant cache if ya tell folks where it is," she taps the side of her head, following the meme.

Vincent laughs at Circe trying to come up with a metaphor. Thinking it is cute the way she stumbles over her words. "Well, I could always use some gear, I mean it would be nice to get some nice gear from that wolf we took down a while back" Vincent shook his head in acknowledgement to the secret cache, "Yeah trust is important, and I know there are times we can never be too careful." Vincent takes another potato skin and pops it into his mouth.

Blinking a few times, thinking about what Circe said, “Uh, I don’t think so? Maybe you’re thinking of the one I got into the sparring accident with?” maybe? “Cole was the one I had to throw out of my coffee shop for getting violent.” He had been a problem…to say the least. “But he did apologize.” So there was that.

Chuckling, “Yes, it was entertaining, your metaphors always are.” And she wasn’t lying. Though the Summer could get carried away, it was still funny.

“There are some good farmers markets around where you can get some very useful materials.” She loved Markets, so much to get, so little to batter with!

"Uh, no. Cole was the glass ass no you," she clarifies to Seraphina. How did you describe someone who was made of glass without saying they'd been made of glass. "Sounds about right fer the fragile dink I meant," she nods in agreement.


Circe shrugs as the metaphors did run from her.


"Eeeh, mostly I source surplus, though custom craft is possible with the right supplies," she tells Vincent. She nods in agreement, "Sarah's right about the markets being good sources, that is true. Though the swap meets can be a pain."

Vincent nods again, "We definitely need to schedule an outing to a market then. It would be really nice to get some items I have been looking for." Vincent takes a look at the ladies drinks, "So what is good here, any recommendations?"

[Seraphina]

There was confusion, she still felt like her and Circe were talking about different people. “So we are both talking about Fawkes? Cause it seems like we are mixing people up. But,” a shrug, “whatever, I don’t think it really matters.” It was a different conversation for a different time. But she does remember Fawkes was made of glass, she had sparred with the guy when he had glass armor.

“I love the swap meets! I always leave with something I was looking for, and things I wasn’t.” chuckling.

As to Vincents question, “I have no idea what’s good here and what’s not. I just saw that they had espresso martini’s and remembered I really enjoyed them. And the one here is pretty good.”

[Circe]

"No it really don't," Circe nods with a smile, "The Generalissmo and his minion Fucks both left that is true. Truth? I didn't bother ta remember their names as an insult oh ho ho ho!" She freely admits that. It wasn't a kindness. Circe sighs with her ears droo;ping, "But yeah, Cole was the one who left me my workshop," she sticks out her tongue and whacks herself in the side of the head.


"If ya like seafood, bacon, and pizza, there's a pizza here that uses clam chowdah instead of tomato sauce," she nods as she explains some of the menu options. "There is a fruit and pepper laced tofu thing I've never tried. And a wild boar chop with greens and pineapple. THAT," she puts down the mug and points at both of them, "I've tried and it is good. Irregular though I they got a boar in, so it is available tonight. My treat!"

Vincent thinks about it and decides on the pizza, "I have never tried clam chowder on a pizza before, so lets go with that. Though I have had banana on a pepperoni pizza before and that thing was delicious."

Vincent thought back to what the girls said, "So how long ago was it when these two attempted a takeover the club?"

[Circe]

"Bananas?" She thinks of something, "Oh! Elvis loved bananas," she nods, "That sounds like a legit pizza Vince," she continues to nod and sips her drink.


"Ummmm," Circe hums in thought as she places the order. The order pad even had a clock! 20 minutes. So privacy for 20 minutes. "Oh, it was like 4 years ago. Had a bunch of people with anger issues join the club, so I wasn't exclusive anymore. They had more flash, so I let em take the paperwork. Which they fottuti, ran away from consequences, and bam," Circe claps, "I'm back in charge."


"I'd wound either of them if they returned. Glass fuck especially fer trying ta off Cole," she recalls that clearly. This was a bar she frequented for work. Crime was discretely ignored. And the staff knew Circe talked a lot of bullshit.

Nothing that Circe listed off really sounded that good to her.

“Think I’ll just stick with the potato skins, they’re pretty damn good.” Truth be told, she wasn’t that hungry. Her appetite hadn’t really returned yet.

“Uhhh,” thinking, “Max and I had just started dating, well, went public with dating, so maybe 2019?” looking to Circe for clarification. She missed that, the Coronation with Rhodes, walking around on his arm, the butterflies in her stomach. Now replaced with pain.

“Well, I’m glad your back in charge. They didn’t deserve to be in charge, and you do a much better job.” Plus, Circe was her friend.

An eyebrow raises, “Guess I missed that. He never struck me as the type to do that, maybe I misjudged him.” And she could hear Rhodes in her mind say he told her so, and that she should have let him haunt his Dreams for what he did to her. Which was an accident. Or…was it? Looking to Circe, “Do you think he was trying to off me when we sparred?” her voice low, fear creeping into it.
