“If I’m being honest, I’m now glad we didn’t. That would have been a nightmare upon itself to get dealt with.” She would have had to start over. “Why? What were you thinking?” she asks, curious.

Laughing with a nod, “Maybe! I could totally see her being a double agent!” it was nice to do that right now, laugh. She needed it, “I needed to laugh.” It still hurt, but it was ok.

Accepting the hand, she feels a bit unsteady, but not too bad. The Nix was in a better frame of mind then when Sonnie first got there. “Food sounds amazing.” And at the mention, she feels and hears her stomach rumble. “You certainly are! And food trucks sound perfect, lets go to your favorite ones and eat ourselves into a coma!”

Sonnie shook her head again, "Oh nothing. Just thought his bank account could be a way to track him down, if he's still in the mortal world somewhere. But without access, that's a no go."

"Anyway," the Beast said, returning to her talk of food, "sounds like we got a plan. We'll load up at the trucks, go to my place, and eat it all and watch movies with Fugly!" She made a mental note not to have any movies with romantic subplots. Admittedly, that was going to be difficult. Maybe some sci-fi action stuff.

A quick nod, "Ah, that would be a great way to track him, good thinking.” And it would, if she could. “I can only say if he is somewhere, and I can’t find him in the Dreamscape, then he is hiding really fucking good.” And it led her to believe he was gone. And that thought brought fresh tears to her eyes.

Using what was left of the tissue, she quickly wiped her eyes, nervously laughing, “Guess I’m going to be doing that a lot.” Just hopefully not around the Freehold. She was a Monarch, she was the Spring Queen and breaking down in tears every five minutes wasn’t ok.

“That sounds perfect!” putting the bottle behind the counter. “Oh! Maybe we can find something funny and stupid.” Both sounded like something she needed. “Have to remember to bring Fugly something too.” But knowing Sonnie, she already had something picked out for him.
