[Saber Sloth]

Sera stands and watches, amusement clear, while the bartender shouts "Oi! Break it up!" while trying to find the bouncer...who seems to be MIA at the moment.

A gut punch and an elbow and someone else is dragged into the brawl and - well. It's verry distracting.

The girl, shaking, looks at Jasper with a small sad smile. Tears gathering in her wide dark eyes, "You-you need to get away from me." She whispers, backing up, hands up and open. Her thin gloves, coloured like her skin, or as close a match as she could probably find, begin to smoulder. "Please!" she cries, "I don't...I don't wanna hurt you!"

She hears the bartender, and eyes look for Jasper and Vincent. Hoping they were getting what was needed, or at least a new direction.

But then her attention was pulled back to the fight as a punch was landed and an elbow is thrown in, “Damn!” grimacing as she watches, sipping the beer. But wait! There was more! Another contender!

“Now this is looking very unfair boys.” She says to no one in particular, not really trying to break it up. She wasn’t a bouncer after all, and she wasn’t about to risk a stray blow striking her.

[Jasper]

Jasper's attention is on the brawl for a moment as he stands as a barrier between the smoldering girl and the rising violence. He fishes his lighter out of his pocket and flicks it with a practiced movement, years of smoking make the motion almost instinctual to him. He passes his thumb through the flame and the fire leaps up his arm and across his torso, bidden by his Glamour as he seals a clause with the element. It surrounds his large frame in a thin veneer of heat, a haze of promise.

He glances around for a moment, thankfully seeing that the fight is the distraction for most everyone... No one is paying attention to the tall hazy man and the burning girl. "We can't let it control us. Ah'll make you a promise... For this day, on my name and honor, Ah'll keep you safe and Ah'll keep your secrets but you need to stay calm, in control, lest your luck run out." He pauses for a moment, to let the idea work through her mind and so he can help will that vow into existence. "The flame is part of us but it doesn't control us.. It doesn't rule us and you can't let it."

Vincent looked at how quick Jasper attempted to calm the waitress. In doing so he decided to run interference if the distraction created by the fight was not enough to keep eyes off of them. Vincent put his head on a spindle and looked around to be sure that there was no one looking in their direction, much less noticing the commotion between the waitress and Jasper.

The brawl continues, but the bouncer staggers out from the men's room, zipping up his fly, he mutters a curse under his breath and makes his way over to the pool tables. "Oi! "

Vincent with his eyes peeled sees most are either part of the brawl or focusing on it, but there are a few who's attention keeps straying to the shaking girl and the giant towering over her.


"You-you-you-fire" she shakes looking at the flame licking up Jasper's form but not spreading, and doe eyes wild, "What are you doing? Why are you...?" seeming to ignore the words to begin a Pledge, like she didn't know what they were for, "Why can't -" looking at the bar, looking at everyone who's not staring and screaming at the man on fire, "Why can't they see your fire?"

The Nix continues to drink her beer, watching the fight continue to unfold.

Until she see’s the bouncer and frowns. Maybe she can talk him out of stopping it? Or at least stall him.

Walking over, trying to stand in front of him, “Sounds like tensions between them had been building up, fight was bound to happen.” Another sip, “Might be good to let them get it out and over with, don’t want grudges and shit. Plus, everyone seems to be enjoying the show."

Jasper watches her reaction to seeing him flame up. He knew somehow that she'd be able to see it while the others couldn't. He looks to her, trying to keep her attention on him, to keep her calm. "Ah can try to explain it, lass, but let's get some place quieter.." he says, glancing towards the still ongoing fight. "Is there a backway out of here?" he asks, trying to be as charming and persuasive as he can. "Like Ah said, Ah wanna keep you safe. Ah wanna keep everyone safe."

Yes people were looking in their direction, but it was probably due to the freak out of the waitress and not necessarily what was going on either way he was with Jasper they needed to get her out of here and preferably somewhere safe. "He is right, we need to get you out of here and somewhere quieter, and we can explain everything to you. But for now, we need you to calm down enough to tell your coworker that you need to leave, so we can get out of here."

[Saber Sloth]

The bouncer blinks stupidly as Sera intercepts him from the brawl. Before frowning, is eyebrow drawing together, he takes in a breath, "Sure, I can sees that. S'long as it doesn't get bad, no one gettin' worse then a few bruises then I'm good to just...supervise." He said, trying to keep his eyes on the brawl, but they keep getting drawn back to the Fairest.

And with of ineffective the drunk regulars can duke it out, it might take a while before the bouncer steps in.


Jasper's words roll over the girl, not even his wyrd born blessing helps, it might because he's currently on fire and the girl's near the picture of panicked fear.

Vincent, however has a slightly better time, her eyes flicker between the men, as her breathing speeds up, and her hands ball into fists. "Wh-why would I need to know anything? Wh-why should I go with you?"
