Jasper watches Gabby as the woman begins to smoke again. His green eyes widen slightly and he shifts in his seat. "As my friends say, we're not saying that you're lying to us, but you're also not telling us everything. We're not accusing you of starting the fires, at least not on purpose. We want to know what happened so we can help stop it from happening again. You said you got hurt, right? What happened? We weren't there but you were. Tell us your side of the story, Gabby."

[Saber Sloth]

The girl grits her teeth as she listens to the Lost, Sera's words wash over her, as the Fairest works her mundane magic. Gabby sucks in a deep breath, then another, and another, as she forces herself to release her tension and as that happens the smoldering slows, then ceases.

"I was just trying to find a place to sleep," She admits in a low, hesitant voice, Eyes unfocused, remembering. " But there were these guys and- and they were gonna hurt me. An I - I was scared an - I-I-I couldn't stop it." she continues, tears rushing up and spilling down her cheeks. "So everything just whoosh," a she makes the sound effect, her hand raises to mime it at the same time.


With the voices lowering, and no other obvious shows of a conflict, the officer, doesn't come closer, but he does keep an eye on the car as he makes his way closer to the bar.

There was concern in her eyes as she watched Gabby. Breath held for a moment. But it soon releases when the girl calms down.

This was good, it was a step.

“I’m sure we can help you find a safe place to sleep in the future. Are you homeless?” she seemed to be working at the bar. But maybe didn’t make enough to afford a place? It wasn’t unheard of or uncommon. “I actually work with some local shelters that can give you some place safe. Places that work with only women.” Was it ideal? Probably not. But it might make the girl trust them…a bit.

And sometimes, that bit was all that was needed.

“So, it appears tied to your emotions, particularly strong ones.” The tears were a good touch. Fear? Anger? Both were high on her list. But not for a Court, but because they were normal emotions.

“And what is the plan?”

Vincent upon seeing Gabbys tears felt empathy for her. He knew he had to keep her talking though. Sera seemed to be doing a good job with the questions, so he didn't want to interrupt her. Looking around he notices the officer is walking back to the bar. "We might want to keep it down for a while, I do not think we want to attract any more attention to us."

Jasper watches as the tears start to flow and then the tale comes out. The basics of it is something he's heard more often than he'd like to admit. Honest folks just looking for a safe, dry, semi-clean place to sleep for the night and other folks harassing them. It's all too common. He's had happen to him before but a few broken noses from a scrappy street dog, er man and it helped to deter some of the folks from bothering him.

He listens to the Fairest's words and gives a nod of agreement at her words. A glance towards Vincent and then the cops milling about and he nods in agreement. "Good point. Hey, Gabby, would you mind if my friend Sarah here moves her vehicle to a different spot on this block, so we're not in the way of the emergency services?" he asks.

He holds out a long-fingered hand between the two homeless people. "Can we have the keys back?"

Gabby dashes her hand against her faces, swiping her tears, and snorting loudly as she tries not to get snot everywhere. And looks up, between the three others, then out the window to the cop car and the ambulance.

"Okay." she says, after giving Sera a good long look, she hands her the keys, "But just around the corner." she hastens to add.

Them being in the car, and this being Sera's and with her in the driver's seat it's easy as pie to get it to start and for her to pull out of the parking lot and slowly make her was down the street.

"Then, what happens, if I let you bring me to a shelter, and something happens again, and I spark?" she asks a few seconds after the car starts.

Y'all can continue around the corner and park, or go further if you want. I just wanted to get to the actual driving part and not draw it out for another round before narration.

[Seraphina]

Reaching into the console, she pulls out a travel sized bag of tissues and hands them to the girl. Best to have the snot on tissues and not her car.

Accepting the keys, she moves the car down the street before parking it and shutting it off.

“Well, the only way to avoid that is to figure out what your triggers are and find a way to have you work around them. So far it sounds like fear and anger are two of them.” From what the girl described and her almost lighting up in the car. “Which are normal things to feel and nothing to be ashamed of.” Cause people love to be ashamed of fear, thinking it didn’t affect them. “Do you agree those trigger you, well, sparking?” for lack of better words. “You can’t control it if you don’t acknowledge the triggers and take control of them.” Would the girl want to? She didn’t know. "You will always be on the run and a slave to it."

Vincent let Seraphina speak to Gabby. She was getting to her, and was content on listening in. He didn't think now was the time for all of them to speaking anyways.

[Saber Sloth]

Gabby takes the tissues, listening as they drive just around the corner before parking once more. "No offence but I wasn't expecting that from you, brunette Barbie." she says around the snot ball in her throat, and taking a tissue out of the packet to try and hock it out.

She scoffs after wiping her mouth, "Obviously," everything the Lost had seen had proves that fear and anger where the biggest triggers."I try to avoid anything that might....trigger....me. But - " the current sparking, and the recent fires prove she's not as good at doing so as wishes she was.

"I'm not gonna start listing things with - " she swallows, looking between Vincent and Jasper. "So. Got a name of a freak therapist, or a name of a...a...women's shelter?" she asks Sera.

[Jasper]

Jasper listens to Sera's words and the truth of them. He looks at her and then to the side, thoughtful for a moment. The Fairest's words seemed to be getting to Gabby and they also seemed to be getting to him. He can't afford to let his fears rule him, to let the fear and truth of loss to keep him from living his life the way he wanted. He looks towards the Spring Queen and there's a small smile there.

He glances to the quiet Beast before turning back towards Gabby again, giving a small nod. "She surprises me too some days. There's a lot of depth to that woman. I'd trust her with pretty much anything" he says, glancing towards Seraphina for a moment before nodding back to Gabby. We all try to avoid those bad things, those triggers.. but we're not always in control of that.. he thinks a bit sullenly to himself.

He gives another nod to her as she doesn't seem all the comfortable around the men in the car and doesn't really seem to blame her. The Beasts are both men and by that very nature, predatory, even if they now have the mind and wills to try to be something else. It's still there, deep down.
