Even more eyes land on the Fairest. Hunger evident, the guy who scoffed says his name's "Bobby," and mentions something about "Handling the stick right," he offers to guide her how to bend over the table right, and to grip and handle the cue.


The whisper is swallowed into the depths of the murmuring crowd, even if the bartender keeps squinting at the Beasts. Vincent doesn't see anyone obviously hiding in the crowd, the bar might not be empty, but it wasn't busy either.

Jasper on the other hand, who's nose had lead his attention to the kitchen sees a thin, near gaunt women come out from the doorway, in her hands a plate of a burger and fries. The doesn't look good. Too much grease, the fries limp. Smells over done, but it's not enough to cover the scent their tracking. She's tiny, 5'2, 5'3? Her dark hair's pulled back in a low pony tail and her skin's pulled tightly over her bones.

She doesn't have a mien. And looking at her shadow doesn't reveal changeling secrets as it would have if the individual had harden their mask.

Did she think her words would be taken as an invitation to actually have her play? Not really. But here they were. Taking another drink, debating if she wanted to let him touch her. Would it get her any information? Could be a tossup, but might give the guys some time.

Setting the glass down, finding a coaster to place over the top of it, because sketch ass bar.

Walking to the table, “Now how does a girl know you’re not a creep Bobby? Lots of scary shit going on out there lately.” Her walk slowing as a hand was run along the edge of the table, “I’m Sarah by the way.”

[Jasper]

Jasper gives a glance over at Vincent to make sure he's following the giant, but then his gaze goes back forward. He stops when he spots the gaunt woman leaving the kitchen, lifting a hand to the side slightly to slow/stop the other Beast beside him as he lets her pass. His nostrils flare slightly as he catches the scent of pub food, grease and all, and then that evergreen-ice beneath it and he looks over at Vincent. He reaches up to tap the side of his nose before rubbing as if he had an itch and looks over at the waitress. She's not the blonde that he was expecting but his nose knows. She's the one, or knows the one, who's involved with these fires.

He looks over towards Seraphina, looking to see if she's doing okay or needs a bit of help. She'd probably complain and say she could handle it, but Ah'd hate to leave her all alone... he thinks to himself as he leans back against the bar and downs the last of his Guinness before setting the glass on the bartop. "A beaut, ain't she?" he asks of a nearby patron at the bar, glancing towards Sarah as indication and waits for the patron to look over at Seraphina before Jasper's gaze flicks back over to the waitress. Despite his size and rugged looks, the man can be quite discrete and deceptive all at once. If the patron looks to where Jasper wants him to look, he's gonna take a little sip of what he suspects is a good amount of desire coming from him, if not him, the crowd's definitely sporting it.

OOC: For some reason, I missed your post about being able to harvest, if we wanted. Still able to? If so, would Manipulation + Subterfuge be appropriate here? Or something else.

Vincent followed Jasper and watched as he motioned to the woman. Taking the hint, he realized that the woman had set off a scent to Jasper. He decided to stand next Jasper prepared to follow his lead.

Listening to Jasper talk to the patron he had a feeling that he was trying to create a distraction and there is no better one than Seraphina .

"Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. Now who wouldn't want my hands on 'em?" he tries for confidant and suave, but lands on arrogant and oily, like a greasy weasel.

"Everyone and their dead mother," heckles someone else around the pool table.

"Oi! Fuck off Gerry, pretty lady's not talking to you now is she?" Bobby snaps back before leveling another greasy weasel look at Sera, and Sera looking between Gerry, Bobby and the rest feels like there's something on the tip of her tongue, something about the situation...


"A beaut? Heh, beaut don't even cover it. Someone like that coming into a place like this, she's either payed or this is some prank for Bobby and them." comes the voice of the patron Jasper spoke to.

Vincent follows along after Jasper, his gaze watchful and posture just a little to reminiscent of the Hunter in his Heart.

Before she could answer, seemed someone else wanted to offer their two cents, smirking, “Sounds like everyone and their dead mother is the top contender.” Maybe giving the other guy some confidence to keep going. “Does that mean your hands could protect little ol’ me? Like I said, some scary shit going down around here lately.” Why did they always have to be oily and arrogant? Maybe it was whatever he was drinking.

“I could be talking to him too,” a lazy shrug, “he looks like he might know what’s he doing.” And sounded like his name was Gerry.

Jasper nods in agreement, glancing from the patron over to Sera again before he takes that metaphysical sip off the room and lets out a shaky breath at just how potent the desire in the room really is. Bobby better keep his hands to himself if he knows what's good for him. Might need to end this fast... before things get out of hand.

Well, well, well, Sera looks and sees between these men, and knows them as boys, and it wouldn't take much to push them into a classic barroom brawl. That would be distracting, right?

"I'm warmer than a corpse sweetheart, an got more muscles too," Bobby says trying flirt, but his smarmy expression turns flat, when Sera points out Gerry, and his ability to...'help'


In that rush between Glamour gotten and Glamour burned, Jasper scents what had been lost during his focused search of the ice-and-evergreen scent. A chemical cocktail that burns up his nose. But he knows what it means - hair dye.



Fumbling his drink Vincent spills it, thankfully not onto someone, but eyes are being pulled from Sera and towards him.



Their ice-and-evergreen scented lady moves from behind the bard to one of the tables by the dusty blind covered windows. "What can I get ya?" she says, voice small, and almost gone in the din of the bar.

A small sly smile pulls at the corners of her mouth, it had been a while since she last got some guys to fight. Not counting the guards in the Hedge, there wasn’t any physical fighting then. This could be fun.

Focusing on Bobby, “Muscles don’t win all the hearts,” she says before pausing, picking back up her glass to take a sip, “but then again, it’s hard to tell who has the muscles and who knows how to use them.” She was a bit rusty on this. What worked on her husband wouldn’t necessarily work on these guys. A glance to Gerry, “He doesn’t look like he’s lacking in any muscles to me.” A quick bat of her lashes. “Or is he simply the strong silent type?” a wink tossed to Gerry.

She hoped Jasper and Vincent were getting some useful information, she was feel a bit dirty and slimy. But a distraction she would be!
