She had to laugh, “No offense taken, I actually get that a lot.” It was something she always tried to do, make others underestimate her.

“Avoiding the triggers won’t help, you’re always going to be running from things. But facing them, and taking away that power, will give you the strength to overcome them. It will empower you and you’ll then be able to kick ass and take names.”

Did she have an issue with men? Jasper and Vincent were some of the more trust worthy guys she knew outside Rhodes. But, she doesn’t know the girls history. “Oh, ok. Well, if you wanted to talk privately, we could set something up.” She still did not trust the girl. But she felt confident in her own Contracts and skills to be able to fend her off if need be. “As far as a therapist, you’re looking at one. Though never call yourself a freak, you're not one. I like to think of it as unique with the ability to protect yourself.” Could she do much in her Dreams? Maybe. “I’ve been trained in helping others overcome things, I’m not licensed or anything, but I can help if you decide you want it.” Digging in her purse, she pulls out a piece of paper and writes the address and number of two shelters, then hands tit to Gabby. “I do volunteer work with both of them, and can vouch for how safe they are.” Because maybe Gabby needed to feel safe.

A thankful smile to Jasper, “Thank you.” Good to know he trusted her, trust was difficult. “Call it years upon years of experience.” And being married to a man that embodied Fear. “Facing what we fear and what triggers us is a difficult task, but with people around you to help, it can be done.”

Vincent took a deep breath, "Look I know you do not trust us completely yet, but I do feel that you should at least consider our lady friends offer. At least to try to get you off the streets for now."

Gabby's brows raise, "You're a - " ah, not licenced. "Ah." a slow nod. "Okay. Sure. Why not." she's quiet for a moment, "Sure. Give me the names of the shelters, or their locations, and I'll look at them." she says, not promising to go stay there, and obviously not wanting the Lost to know which she might choose. But she's more willing to accept this help than she would have been when they'd all met.

We can get Gabby to the shelter, and that can be the end of this Plot if you want, leaving her to learn and grow on her own. Or Sera could have her one-on-one with her, or, the Lost can try and aid her through Oneiromancy. If you want to continue with this plot and the Oneiromancy, you will need to enter a Pledge with her so you can find her dreams. Pledge of Horn and Bone (p. 187 CtL Core) would work, and remember you'd need to spend the WP in be involved.

Either way, we'll be wrapping this Scene soonish, and if y'all want a knew one can be opened depending on what to do

You had me at Oneiromancy. While Sera doesn't trust her, she feels like she can help her, and that's what she wants to do. So count me for some Oneiromancy fun!

I would like to do an Oneiromancy plot as well. That sounds like it would be fun

Cool! Oneiromancy is our next stop! But first you need to make a Pledge with Gabby so you can find her dreams easier after this one wraps. ICly you don't have to be I so and so pledge blah blah blah, you can be tricksy/sneaky about it, as long as the words are said and the WP spent and Gabby agrees

This was going to require a Pledge, but Pledges were not her strong suit. That was Rhodes wheelhouse. But surely, she had picked up a few tricks over the years.

“This might come across as weird, but I need your permission to help with your Dreams and sleep. Just something I ask of anyone and everyone I help.” She knew Rhodes would make this sound much smoother, but she was going to give it a shot.

“I want to let you know Gabby, that I am offering to help you face your demons and make your Dreams and rest safe and happy. You simply need to let me see the Dreams. Those Dreams, and what I see and you confide in me with, will remain between you and I, the words and visions never to be shared with anyone else. And when you sleep and Dream, I will watch over you, keeping you safe, and your happiness and safety is all I need in return.”

Ok, so I'm not good at rewording things....lol! But I tried, and I can try again if need be

"So you don't set things on fire? Like - " Gabby looks at Jasper, then back at Sera swallowing. "Okay, Sure. Whatever." she says, agreeing to the deal. "Just, write down those addresses, or the numbers or whatever and I might see about getting there." she says in reference to the shelters Sera had offered as options that would help.

After they're written down Gabby pulls the door handle and slides back out of the car. She stops looking uncertain before getting out, "....guess I'll see ya during naptime." before slamming the door and jogging down the street.

With Lionell 's Posting Interruption Notice and their RL things, I'll allow them to spend WP retroactively for the PLedge if they like.
