"Indeed," she nods in agreement with Seraphina, "I voted fer yer establishment due to a few factors. Your cheerful logo," she points to it and gives the man a smile. The kind and angelic smile she has may be odd for Seraphina to see on Circe's face. "Is included amongst them," Circe adds in a giggle. Well, Sonja would probably like the logo so that would make it cheerful, right? Of course, it would. Circe was the more professionally dressed, but she'd not the credentials for a business.

She could easily wing it onto the story. Investor, friend, engineer friend, consultant, etc.

Up the stairs, she makes it to the landing and sees rows and rows of hallways, the soccer mom and her hipster son are still arguing, but veer off to one of the halls to their own unit, leaving Sonnie to try and find the right unit for herself.

The Customer Service Smile softens into something warmer when the Monarchs don't immediately Karenize the situation "Thanks, definately a plus of working here!" he says to Circe, before nodding and reaching for a clipboard and a pen "You can start registration here," handing it over for Sera, it's a simple form, name both for her and the business, if she wanted the warehouse or the individual storage units, what temperature she needed and other things in that vein. "So, first thing's first, prices depend how much space would you need and what exactly would you want to be keeping cold. We have warehouse space, the individual units are usually cheaper than the warehouse space, but of course that depends on if you want a refrigeration unit or if you want a freezer unit. The units are all roughly the same size," pointing to a sign tapped on the counter showing off sizes and prices.

Accepting the pen and clipboard, she begins to fill it out, but obviously still listening to him, “Hmmm,” warehouse seemed a bit much, and she felt confident that what they were looking for would be individual sized, “I think a warehouse would be to large, my business is small, yet I hope to expand. Is that possible in the future?” she asks. “If so, I think starting with an individual size would be best. I’m not even sure if my customers are going to be open to new product.” A lighthearted laugh as she looks at the sign, nodding. “Prices seem very reasonable.” Looking to Circe. “A smaller refrigeration unit should work for now.” Who knows, maybe she’ll actually use it. “Another question if you don’t mind, but is the facility secure? I’ve just heard stories in the news about storage units being broken into and I don’t want to lose product. Is your facility secure?” product was expensive.

"Could think of worse logos," she sighs in annoyance, "Like ones having ta do with damn making wildlife," she sticks out her tongue, "Terrible for me ta wear, ugh. Yers is way cuter."


Circe then makes a show of looking over Seraphina's shoulder to check the prices. "If quality matches the reviews, then that'd be good prices. Better and safer than a cooler of dry ice," her eyes narrow and her expression turns annoyed as she mentions dry ice. Not that it involved the Freehold, but was that guy ever an idiot. "Security is however always a concern," she nods and looks up to the employee.


"It was a reason I vetoed a few others. Security is always a good investment to consider," and if they had CCTV online, she'd like to know. It was something she might be able to hack later on for extra investigation work. Or for an after hours return trip.


Or guard dogs. Bacon was such an excellent way to make the puppies friendly so she'd not have to hurt them.

It takes Sonnie a bit, but she finds the unit. It looks just like all the others she'd passed in her quest, but it's definately the one she's after. It's locked like the others, but the ones in here don't need the key card, or a password. This one's locked with a good, old fashioned padlock.

The receptionist nods, "Completely understandable. We do have onsite security, the individual units are only accessible through a locked door, you need a key card and the password to to open. Each unit has a manual lock and if you're worried about someone who has had the unit before you, you may bring your own lock. However," he motions to a line on the form, "If there's probable cause, or you're late consecutively on payments, we retain our right to force the door."

Monkeys laughed in the distance, a sign the Wyrd had answered and held up it's end of the deal, granting the Claviger bestial levels of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. With it, she turned her attention towards the mystery storage unit, looking to discover what she could of the interior from out here in the hallway. It might be good, she reasoned, to make sure there wasn't something dangerous waiting inside.

The Nix moves slightly, giving Circe a better view of the prices, nodding here and there.

Looking a bit sheepish, “My friend is better with security things then I am, and I always forget the right questions to ask.” And she trusted Circe with security.

“Oh, a key card and password?” sounding impressed, “That’s miles above some of the other places. But do you change them when someone moves their business elsewhere or doesn’t pay their bill?” because if not, that was inviting a whole host of problems. Looking to where he was pointing, “Ah, a good clause, makes sense.” That seemed standard with storage places.

Looking over the information once again, “It all seems like just what I’m looking for. Now what I’m looking to store is food, well, like milk and the type of chilled ingredients for my shop, do you have any restrictions on what can and can’t be stored? I don’t want store almond milk and be breaking a rule or something.” an shy laugh.l

[Circe]

Circe looks at the form, actually inspecting it and the probable cause clause. Circe was fairly familiar with shipping container and cargo freight contracts. Not enough to draft them, but she'd read plenty. Not that those things interfered with her smuggling when she used a cardboard box as a Hedge Gate to smuggle stuff through.


The clause seemed pretty standard to Circe. Not more harsh or lenient than the other contracts she'd read. "Hmm," she nods before looking to Seraphina, "Seems ta be a standard clause. I've seen more stringent, but international freight." She waves her hand dismissively, "Is a minefield of national laws." Circe trails off. It was good for Sera to know this, and made her useful for the legit part.


Security details weren't highly detailed, which made sense, but during a tour she could watch for security cameras and flirt with any guards. "At these price rates I would not expect Fort Knox for any place. Well," she taps her chin with a smile, "There was that place with the rottweilers." She jerks her thumb over her should as she sweetly giggles, "Such friendly, cuddly doges. Happy ta play. Made it worth the visit, but I'm sure a thief could pass them with using treats and belly rubs."

Seemed this was working.
