(Private)Spring Gets together!

“Huh, well, I’m sure we can make that work. But you will need to try it on your own as well, you won’t always have Sonnie or myself to help you.” Just putting it out there.

Chuckling, “I believe replacing a missing limb is even beyond my skill set as an Oneirophysic, so yeah, lets not test that.” She could stop the bleed out, but not replace it. Least, not that she knew of…but probably not.

A warm smile was offered to the Giant when he gave her the gentle pat, “Thanks.” A translucent hand patting his. “And you’re right, she does seem to be very shy and unsure.” But they couldn’t all get to know each other if Molly didn’t make an effort. “I’ve been working on the infirmary, making sure its stock piled with the basics. But I was thinking maybe a special Feasting Table! One that will magically make a feast appear with a wide variety of Goblin Fruits and other exotic dishes! Then there would one less thing we would have to worry about for the Coronation. I mean, I still have some really cool ideas for sweets from a local bakery that will make us standout.” Spring was the best Court, hands down. “Maybe even a Horticulturist’s Box. I know some of us grow our own Goblin Fruit,” a smile to Sonnie, who’s fruit had saved her, “but if we have something here, something for Spring to use in case of an emergency, it won’t cut into your personal supply. And who knows, maybe we can even plant some wild look Hedge plants to have around.” Those were her ideas. “And I know I’ve been working on the infirmary, but maybe a room for Hedgespinning. I have my own personal Hollow where I focus on it, but this would be a good way to help each other if anyone else wants to give it a try. Just a thought.” She wasn’t expecting to have a room for it.

“Like she said, no wood chippers.” Wood chippers were bad for limbs.

“She did?” seems Sera was too into her conversation with Anatole and Jasper to notice. “Yeah, social anxiety isn’t something I would guess a Spring would have, but,” a shrug, “you never know. Maybe she had a bad experience in another Freehold. She didn’t really open up that much to me so I’m not sure.”

It felt weird to be here. Though at least she had a book to bury her nose into if things got too bad. She still wasn't that great with people, but it was a case of baby steps, right? A deep breath before speaking as she entered the Hollow, a pang of feeling too open for a moment before reminding herself if anywhere would be safe, it would be the place of the Monarch of her Court. "Hey... I'm sorry for taking so long to show up. Um... anxiety is being... not great as of late. So did I miss anything?"

Sonnie blinked in shock as a wild Molly suddenly appeared! Then, she threw up her hands in a celebratory gesture, "Uh... SURPRISE!"

Wait, was this a surprise party? It was now! Sort of.

"Um, just some food and chat, but we can keep doing that! Welcome to the Tavern!"

And just like that, Molly decided to stop by after all.

“Welcome to the Spring Hollow, the Tavern. The best Hollow within the Freehold if you ask me.” Greets the Nix, “You know Sonnie,” a nod to the Beast, “and Liam.” A nod to the Giant.

“We were actually discussing the recent upgrades and how we wanted to use them. And I think there has been some talk of the Coronation coming up.”

As Sonnie mention the food, “Please, help yourself. We have a little bit of everything.” Popping a grape into her mouth as she refilled her cup.

You guys only have 8 days left! Hopefully we can get Cress Molly Knight caught up in the Springly goings on within time!

Liam gives Sonnie a joking shocked look at the mention of a wood chipper. "Sonnie! So close to home!" He laughs. "Like you said, Courts have all types. Joy's got a lot of different shades too, and not all of them are big and bright and loud." He points to himself on 'big', Sera on 'bright' and Sonnie on 'loud', punctuating that last one with a smile.

He picks up at the mention of a Feasting Table. ​"Now that sounds like a wonderful idea! We could make it the centerpiece of the Tavern dining hall." He's never heard of a Horticulturist's Box before. "Cultivating our own Hedge-Plants? I like that too. I can talk to Diana about some more exotic plants and where to find seeds to use for that." And Hedgespinning? So many options. "Make the Hollow a destination to learn a new skill. I'd take that class. Though do you think something could be Hedgespun in my size?"

A new voice picks up and Liam turns to see Molly. "You haven't missed a thing. We've been the ones missing you." He gestures out to the mighty spread. "Lost of delicious selections. Like Sera said, we've been making some additions to the Hollow lately. An infirmary, an expanded dining room, eventually a little meditation nook...that's my own personal touch." His chest puffs out just a bit. "With Coronation coming up, we're all excited to show off the new place now that it's multi-level."

"Speaking of...did you have any questions about Spring Coronation?" Liam's not sure what Molly's experience or expectations might be from past experience. ​"Each Court here tends to do things just a little differently of course, but we won't be quite as somber as Winter's Coronation."

"Will there at least be a quiet area to go to if it gets too loud? I love festivities and all, but sometimes... people are just a little much for me. I'm- you have my sincerest apologies for leaving the Winter Coronation early. Too many people at once is overwhelming... I might be a Spring, but I'm still used to the quiet places. It's relaxing to just mellow out and do something like reading or crafts, you know?" Molly felt a little bit guilty for leaving so early, but too many people at once really was overwhelming. Too many people she found her mind wanting to keep track of all at once. Molly made an effort to smile at least, ignoring the little nudge in the back of her brain on why. "I've been doing a little better since then, time to recharge really helps."

A quiet area? "I mean," Sonnie asnwered, "Yeah, there's multiple rooms here. It's a big-ass Hollow!" She nodded enthusiastically, like she did everything.

"And don't sweat the Winter Coro, you showed up, which is all that matters. There's no rule saying you gotta stay for the whole thing." The Beast took a moment to think before adding, "Though, the Monarch might be insulted if you leave early, but you lucked out since we got no Winter Monarch. Again." She chuckled, "Weird that this may be one of the few situations where that's a good thing."

"Yup, gotta fill those batteries!" She gestured at the food Sera had provided for this get-together, "Wanna snack?"

She was happy Liam liked her idea, “I figured it would also take away some of the work. It’s a lot of put together such a magnificent spread as we do. If we had the Feasting Table, we could focus on other things for the Coronation!” decorations, games or whatever. “Hedge-Plants, Goblin Fruit, maybe some not seen too often flowers! Something to add to us being the best Season. But it would be nice if it was something we could use too. Like Goblin Fruit, so others can keep their own supply and not feel pressured to provide for others if they don’t want to.” Not everyone wanted to share. Laughing, “Of course it can! I’m not an expert on Hedgespinning, I just love to do it, but you would be surprised what one can create. If you want to sit down and discuss it more later, we can come up with something for you.” Size didn’t matter if you had the right materials.

Now that was something she had never been asked. A quiet place? “Our Coronations don’t usually get out of hand or anything. Some people choose to go outside, we usually have chairs and fire pits setup there. So I suppose it wouldn’t be impossible to find a quiet place.” This was even more withdrawn than Ryleh had been. “No one is going to make you do anything you don’t want to do.” Was this anxiety part of her Durance? A trauma she hadn’t yet dealt with? Or was it something else?

Sonnie made a good point; they had a huge Hollow! And as far as Sera knew, one of the only multistory ones. Though it could be easy to overlook.

“I’ve only see Monarch’s get upset for what they deem inappropriate behavior. Not sure if any of them would have considered leaving early a slight or not. But I’m sure I’d get a call if they felt it was.” A shrug.
