Oh yeah. Let Sonnie bring Hedge-Monkeys into the Court Hollow. That's a brilliant idea. Can't possibly go catastrophically wrong. Nope. Not at all.

So much poop-throwing in the future!

Where would they start? The Beast thought about it a moment, then nodded to herself. "Infirmary? Just in case of, like, you know. Someone gets hurt, better to have it ready sooner, right?"

Liam's glad to see Sera's enthusiasm about the Tavern expansion. Part of what helps him feel at home with the Spring Court is the passion they all have for each other and for expressing and celebrating joy. ​"I think the infirmary would be a good place to start." He's a little surprised at how quickly Sonnie and even himself were thinking of having a place of healing up quickly. Gerrit and his rust-plague is fresh in Liam's mind. ​"It'll be a nice open-house opportunity for the Spring Coronation and an amenity none of the other Court Hollows have seen yet. Or at least, not seen the way we can do it." After all, Spring is the season of hospitality. "Especially if it's got some nice window views for comfort." ​Though his Ogreish mind drifts towards the practical, he's thinking about what the Spring Infirmary might look like were it above or below ground.

Sera's question gets Liam thinking, and he sits down and scratches his pine-needle covered head with his mouth twisted in a concerted scowl of thoughts and possibilities. "I think...a reading nook. Someplace quiet with a window or a balcony where you can hear the birds and people talking and laughing while you just curl up and read or just think." His body curls inward as he crouches in his seat unconsciously in mirror to his words. He looks up at Sera and Sonnie and slowly corrects his posture as he spreads his arms out. ​"Between all of us, I think we'll have a wonderful Hollow to share with the rest of the Freehold."

Now that wasn’t what she was expecting to hear. But she was excited about it!

“That’s an excellent point Sonnie. We’ve been lucky as far as serious injuries are concerned, so I consider us lucky on that end. But, you never know.” So infirmary was the Beasts vote.

“I’m surprised you both want to start there, but I agree with both of your reasonings. It will certainly put us in a good position, set us apart further. And if we want do it before our Coronation, then we have our work cut out for us. Not that we can’t handle a bit of hard work, we got this.” She had full faith in the Court. A nod to Liam, “A wonderful point. Plus, we should be able to add some amenities to help with that, like maybe some lighting that we can control.” Would be really neat to see if that could have an effect on healing. “I would also like to pick both of your brains about Aetherfruit and growing some. But that’s a more in-depth conversation." But she wanted to try. And then there was brewing it, which would be no small feat for her or any of the Court.

Her smile softens, “That sounds like it would be wonderful Liam, reading nooks are genuine jewels to have. I have a few designs for some, I was working on them for a different project, but I would love to share them with you. But of course, the final look should be whatever you envision it to be.”

"Great, infirmary it is!" Sonnie seemed to have decided for herself, anyway. "What goes into an infirmary, anyway? Beds? First aid kits? Hot nurses?" All she could think of were those old episodes of M*A*S*H she had seen as a kid.

Light bulb! An idea sprung randomly into the Beast's head. "Oh! What if the monkeys were also DOCTORS!?!?"

Sometimes Liam wonders if Sonnie is somehow younger than she sounds. Must be all that energy. Can’t focus on one thing long enough. “Beds for one, first aid kits we can stock up from the outside.” He looks over to Sera and shrugs as if to say Think we got that one covered.

He smiles in thanks to Sera at her compliment. “We’ll have to compare notes sometime. And Aetherfruit? That does sound like a long conversation. But a good one.” Liam will be happy to work with some friendly fruit for a change.

I’m up to wrap as well! This should make Spring a bundle of fun.
