While she didn’t want the giant thumpy thump going after Sonnie, Sera knew she had to get to a place where she could at least stop the bleeding. She’d help her best friend as soon as she could.

The gauze was taken from her bag and she tries to tend the wound as best she can. Hands were shaky from the pain, as she grits her teeth, tears streaming down her face. Fuck did it hurt!

A Contract would have been the best route to go, but she needed something quick.

It's not enough to fix the deep slice in her arm, she'd need Fruit or a Contract, or a proper first aid kit, or a whole ass hospital, it's not stitches, but. It's enough to stop the bleeding. At least for now.

Sonnie's deft in to application of physics, but the Pursuer catches himself before he can fall. And continues his pursuit of Sonnie's life, taking a wild swing, and slices away at the Monkey.

Anger shot through Sonnie as her trip attempt failed, followed by pain as the monster scored another hit on her. The part of her mind that had the martial arts training could tell she wouldn't be able to avoid it, even if she went full defense, so she didn't bother. She couldn't keep this up much longer, though. It was going to slice her to ribbons if she couldn't beat it down fast.

Of course! Monkey tactics 101. The bloody Steepscrambler disengaged by retreating straight up the nearest wall, out of the reach of that damn machete! Good thing this room was two floors!

There was a grunt through gritted teeth of frustration and pain. Frustration because she needed to use a Contract, which was expected, but even touching it hurt like hell!

Thankfully, in a weird way, the guy was focused on Sonnie once again. But gets a piece of her and that angered Sera. She didn’t like seeing Sonnie get hurt. But she couldn’t help this fight, this type of combat was not in her wheelhouse of tricks. Though if they survived, it sure as hell would be.

Sapphires briefly widen as Sonnie climbed! Smart ass monkey! And she wanted to cheer, but this wasn’t the time.

A look of disbelief at the word. She couldn’t leave Sonnie in here alone. She could not leave her best friend to face this alone. But she couldn’t be a distraction. Only thing she had was to try and give Sonnie a bit of luck and hoped it bought them time.

And by two floors, there's a large bookcase made with a dark hardwood, heavy and anchored to the wall. Perfect for a Monkey to perch. The Luck Sera sends clings to Sonnie like a nice fuzzy sweater.

The Pursuer's head tilts as Sonnie disengages and turns his attention to Sera. Moving with that slow measured thunk, thunk, thunk of his boot clad feet, raises his machete and brings it down with the force of the thing causing and ending all of the screaming Sonnie had heard when they'd been lost to the first floor and the second was only more of a concept.

Seraphina you need to roll Samina if you want to stay conscious, this roll must be rolled at the beginning of each of your turns util you have a health box cleared. If you fail this roll, you'll fall unconscious, you'll have Wound Penalties to do anything else, including to try and staunch your wounds, and keep yourself from Bleeding Out. You can roll Dexterity + Medicine + Wound Penalties (-3) to try and stop the bleeding, Use a Healing Contract which will also have the Wound Penalties (-3), or eat a Healing Goblin Fruit

There was no defending against his attack and the pain sliced through her like fire. The scream was unlike any she had emitted before. The room begins to spin as the loss of blood and pain stake over.

She had to heal, she had to call upon her Courts Contracts and heal. She needed this to keep fighting, to try and help Sonnie. She needed this!

Placing a hand over the worst of the injuries, she calls upon her Court to heal her, to give her back some of what she lost to keep fighting!

The Pursuer grunts as the knife is impaled into his back, attention taken from the bleeding Sera and back to the attacking Sonnie. Thunk, thunk, thunking his way to the bookshelf. He tilts his head as he looks at Sonnie sitting at the top, sheathing his machete he reaches out to pull the bookshelf over. It wobbles, but doesn't move.

For the heal are you using it to downgrade lethal to bashing? or are you down grading some of the lethal to bashing and then healing the bashing completely? With that Esuxx you can downgrade your Agg to Lethal, it will cost 1 Glamour point for each Agg converted.
