(2209) Autumn Coronation

[Liam Gelt]

Liam takes Flick's distracted nature and Mara's explosive enthusiasm in stride. It's not too beyond what he's used to from R'lyeh and Circe to be honest. Though he notices that this crew hasn't declared a Court yet. That'll be interesting to see. "Glad to hear you're settling in. If anything comes up and you'd like someone to show you around, I'm sure anybody in the Freehold will be happy to help. There's not too much going on Hedge-side at the moment, so we're more free in the mundie side of things." He's a bit confused by Jasper's handling of food, but eventually notices the puppy and his eyes light up. "Hey there little guy!" It's clear Liam has a soft spot for small animals.

As the newer arrivals split off towards the Wyrdstone and other converstations, Liam looks over to Gerrit. "So, anything going on in your corner of life?" The two Ogres haven't really had a lot of quality time, so Liam's curiosity is tinged with just a hint of friendly concerned. "It seems like forever since we've had a chance to chat."

[Talia]

With a small plate of food equipped and several tasty items shoved into her pockets for later Talia made her way over to the Spring Queen and Sonnie Wu "Do you ladies mind if I join you?"

[Sonnie Wu]

"Free to hang with my bestie? OF COURSE." Sonnie laughed and nodded to Seraphina . "Wanna hit the corn maze again? Or something different?"

She ignored the comment about the quiet. The Steepscrambler wasn't even certain why she brought it up. Sometimes her brain-to-mouth filter didn't catch everything.

Sonnie turned and smiled as Talia approached them. "Sure thing. Don't mind at all! Enjoying the party? How's life in Circe's Iron Spears treating ya?"

[Seraphina]

A warm smile was offered to the Summer, “Hey Talia, great to see you! And please join us!” moving slightly to give her a place to stand, “How have you been?” genuinely curious, she knew little of her.

Laughing, “Yah!” a slight sheer. She never wanted to impose on Sonnie. “I say we mix it up this year. The corn maze is kinda a tradition, but let’s see what else we can find. Maybe there’s a fall festival or something with bits of spooky added in. But it needs to be dog friendly.” Sir Fugly needed to be included. Well, if Sonnie wanted to bring him.

[Talia]

"I am well, thanks for asking. Circe is cool, I couldn't ask for a better sovereign" They had not done much as a court, probably because at this point it was Talia and Circe at least as far as she knew. "But I am sure at some point we will have a Summer training session and I will wish I had died" The woman was like the daughter of Rambo and any training exercise she arranged would involve at least 3 days of being unable to move after it.

"Spooky things is always good and I expect Sir Fugly will be there to protect us all."

[Sonnie Wu]

"Yes!" She nodded happily to Sera, "Dog friendly is a must. Fugs don't wanna miss out on the autumn fun!"

Looking to Talia, she thought for a moment, then asked, "Awesome. I'm curious, though. How come you didn't participate in the wrestling activity back during the Summer Coronation? Me and Circe were the only ones." The Beast tilted her head to one side, then smiled, "Ah, I see the legend of Sir Fugly has spread far and wide! He is a greatly respected knight of the doggie table."

[Seraphina]

A brief nod, “Glad to hear it! And yeah, I have to agree with you there, she’s a great Sovereign. It’s been a pleasure to work with her numerous times over the years.” She liked Circe. “Summer training? Is that like working out together and train?” she was curious.

Looking to Sonnie, “Should Spring do a training session?” what would they train on or about?

Back to Talia, “He is quite the protector! One year at the corn maze he bravely defended us from an evil clown.” A nod, true story.

“I’ll take a look around and find something that is fun and dog friendly. Because if they won’t let him in, they are not getting my business.” Fugly was even welcome in Garden Grounds, he had a bed and everything. “Now does he not want to miss out on the autumn fun, or the delicious food we always get?” knowing the answer.

Looking over the drinks, she selected what looked like a wine, taking a careful sip as she focused back on the conversation. Yup…that was a wine…but she couldn’t place the taste. But it was good! Looking over the glass as she took another sip, she finds Rhodes , and offers a smile.

"Um... sorry I'm late to arrive. I... wasn't sure where this place was and I got a bit held up." A timid voice spoke as she entered the area. Her shoulders were hunched and tight together, clearly unsure of how to act in this place. It may be a party, but she still wasn't sure. "Um... my name is Summer" Summer mumbled as she immediately started looking for Seraphina, the only person in the area that she actually knew.

Once Mara is done touching the Wyrdstone, she moves back to her conversation with Circe, Anatole and Jasper.
