He could see the way the lights bounced off her scales, accentuating her already stunning beauty to levels unfindable in nature. A tear leaked out from his eye as he looked to the guards, searing their faces into his memory.

Touch her, and there will be no corner of your own minds you can run from me.

The Dread Lord turned away from Gerrit and Sera and moved through the shadows, relying on their distraction to press forwards.

Stunned by all the things that have been happening so quickly, Gerrit was not able to answer the voices - let alone put together a lie. Maybe that would work in his favor though: chances were he wouldn't smooth-talk his way out of this anyway.

When Seraphina came to save the situation the aching throbs of the fall were joined by stings of gratitude and embarrassment. Both were quickly overshadowed by her otherworldly beauty. "Uh, oh." He awkwardly tried to get back on his feet, eyes glued to the Fairest. "Thanks." The fumble, the possible danger, and the mission at hand were momentarily forgotten - for now the Queen of Desire demanded attention.

Well, Seraphina was doing the social worker bit. Good thing her armor was subtle. Circe would try to remain hidden as she was and not draw attention rather than risk things.


No hand signals, texts, or what have you that might draw attention. A drunk and a social worker could be explained. A singular SWAT dude? Not so much.


She'd move again after the mundies had screwed off.

Circe pauses, but Rhodes continues, failing to hid himself well within the shadows of the shrubbery and would have been lost, had it not been for Seraphina. All that she used to hide herself fall away as she invokes the Clause, ethereal in the spotlight, scales glimmering and hair shining spun silver-gold. Falling diamond dust, casts a soft rainbow across the yard.

The two mortals, are caught in obvious awe, stare. The one on the left's mouth hangs open, as sounds passed by his lips. "Um-ha-um-" while the other, "S'cool, ya. Not in trouble no. No, uh-not with-a-someone like you lookin' out for him." "Think I can get her number?" "shut up!"

With the mortal's attention fixed firmly on Sera, and Gerrit, by simple proximity, and the fact the ethereal, luminescent goddess is touching him, the others are free to slip passed, heading closer to their target.

Sera can you do a Presence + Persuasion, to get you and Gerrit away from the guards, Circe and Rhodes, can do Dex+Stealth+3 to keep going

A smile was offered to Gerrit, she’d never leave another behind.

Of course, he wanted her number and in the back of her mind, that little voice relished it. Like anyone would not want her number, have you seen her?!

Turning her attention back to the guards, “You’re too sweet!” she gushed, “Again, I apologize for any trouble, and will make sure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you both for being so understanding about this.” She didn’t want to lay it on too thick, but just enough to get them away from the guards and back to the mission of the night.

If not, she had a few more tricks up her sleeve.

Circe tries her best to slip away whence they can, keeping the cheap cape close to try and block her mostly from sight. Maybe she should have looked into making a light kevlar ninja suit?

Right now, she could lead him anywhere and he would trust her. And try and defend her, if anyone dared to threaten her.

A reassuring smile was offered to Gerrit as she kept a hand gently on his shoulder. She had this.
“You are just too kind!” she gushed to the left guard, “Thank you for the generous offer, but my car is parked right over there.” Though she could have had some fun with the phone.

“Oh, I am so sorry, I didn’t introduce myself, please forgive my rudeness, I’m Sarah.” Technically right. “And I cannot thank either of you enough for your kindness in letting me get him back to where he needs to be.” She could have said home, room, facility, but she didn’t want to hurt Gerrit’s feelings. He only needed her help getting out of this small mess. Then a bat of her lashes, “I mean, I might have to return to take down names and location information for my report, maybe you’ll both be here and can help with that.” A hint of playfulness in her angelic voice. “But I must really be getting him back. I would hate to get into trouble at work.”
