The Nix looks back to Circe, “What? Sometimes things need to be said and no one else was speaking up.” And Sera was not exactly good at being subtle, it just wasn’t her thing. She was just usually good at biting her tongue and letting others call things out. “But you can have it back.” She tosses back with a smirk.

When Sera looks back to the guy, nothing was said. At first. It was the no ones friend comment that really stood out, “No one’s friend? Ouch.” Who says something like that? And then contradicts it in the next breath? Sapphires narrow slightly, “So you have friends, you’re just not a friend to them? Huh.” And kinda sad and pathetic.

Shrugging to Gerrit, “I’m down. Always nice to have more comfortable places to talk.”

And damn this guy was bad at lying. It was quite obvious. "Riiiight, well, they might not know ya have access ta a pretty nurse ta treat their injuries. That," Circe smiles as she holds up her right index finger, "Often changes opinions."

"Verily! Generally speaking friends," Circe assures someone with a cheerful tone, "It is better ta talk about private things in private rather than in public. Talking about privates in public, gets ya in trouble," Circe smirks as she makes a horrid pun.

Knowing Sonnie, she was probably honestly more interested in the food than anything else there. Not that she couldn't appreciate the... atmosphere.

The lie flies over Gerrit's head, sailing so far passed him, he hits on that none of the Grey Hoods need the Lost's help, in fact, they're probably orcastracing something.

"The fuck you talking about?" Looking at Sera, then under his breath, "Too fuckin' pretty to have any muscle 'tween the ears." pulling the rear door open, showing the bright blue tarp against the brown-beiges intierrior, he reaches in, one knee on the seat, and tugs the tarp from where it was wrapped under the vaguely humanish shape, pulling it up from the corner and leaning back to show the Lost what lay beneath.

They can't see everything, only the corner is moved, but they do get a good look of the head, and the upper chest. The chest is thin, the bones press up against the skin, which stretches over them, and seeming to bruise from the inside out. Above the clavicle are think, heavy, stitches. Connecting a furred, mutated, half rotting wolf's head to the human torso. At a glance, there's three ears, six eyes, and split tongue pulled out from the open mouth, full of a mix between human and wolf teeth.

"Look like a friend to you? Might be for you freaks, but it ain't none to me."

The grey hoodie didn't want to move somewhere more private - in fact, he never even humored the suggestion. Then he went to show even more special effects work. At least that's what Gerrit assumed it was, judging from the way things have been going so far. Because it was either fake or it had to be a murdered Lost. Or something else entirely.
And that would be crazy.

A painful knot started to form in Gerrit's stomach, and he took a step back. He didn't want to start a scene right now, but he wanted to have their surroundings in view. Was this a set-up? Did they plan to distract the Lost with flashy theatrics to get a jump on them? The Stonebones tried to stay calm, not do anything rash right now. Between Circe and Sonnie anyone trying to jump them would have a bad time.

Returning the look to the guy, cause he was just rude. For no good reason! A shoulder shrugged, “It’s been said a few times before, but has yet to be proven.” Go ahead, think she was stupid. It would be his downfall.

Now what was under the tarp was just fucking nasty. Her nose crinkles as she instinctively moves closer to Sonnie. It looked dead. But that didn’t mean it was.

Standing a bit straighter, “Well it looks like an amazing Halloween prop.” Just in case. “Is it something you’re looking to sell to Funderland? The Haunted House could use a few new scary decorations.” Because this needed to get moved somewhere safe. Like…now.

“As to if it’s a friend? I’m not sure, I’d need a better look with better lighting.”
