Spring in the Tavern

[Seraphina]

They had all been meaning to get together for some time. There were upgrades to the Tavern to discuss, and just spending the day with the Court as a whole was important.

Coronation had taken all her time and focus, but now, with Spring in full swing, she was ready to mingle and reconnect.

Tea and coffee had been made and were sitting on a counter. There was snacks, muffins, fruit and veggies. Figuring having something to munch on would be good. The Nix leaned on the counter and sipped from a cup, humming to herself as she waited. Casual was the thing today, so she wore old jeans, an old tank top and a zip up hoodie over it. Her long hair was braided down her back, and she wore no makeup.

Off to the side were some basic gardening tools. Shovels, rakes, nothing too special, but she wasn’t sure what they would be working on and she figured they’d be good to keep in the Tavern.

[Sonnie Wu]

Sonnie arrived, dressed in her usual casual way: Blue jeans and blue hoodie over a white tee shirt. Her hair was worn up in twin pigtails today. Trotting alongside her is her trust canine companion: Fugly! The dog immediately made his way over to Sera for attention and belly rubs.

"'Ello 'ello 'ello! Wot's all this then?" Her faux English accent continued to be not good. The Beast tossed her messenger bag beside a chair, which she proceeded to flop into.

[Seraphina]

There was a happy smile as Sonnie came into the Tavern, it was always good to see her best friend.
And a Fugly!

Kneeling down, Sera does as requested, attention and belly rubs, “Sir Fugly! I am honored you have joined us this fine day! I made sure to sneak some treats in for you.” There was no sneaking involved, but she was having fun.

The Nix still didn’t have the heart to tell Sonnie her accent sucked, “I thought it might be good to all get together and discuss some upgrades to the Tavern. Plus, we haven’t all gotten together and just talked in what feels like forever!” standing, she reaches behind the counter to produce said treats for Fugly.

“But how’ve you been? I never got to tell you how amazing and badass your transformation was at the Coronation!!” she gushed, moving to one of the chairs.

Fugly was always happy to see his Aunt Sera, and he accepted all pets, scritches, rubs and other assorted lovings from her with gusto!

Thankfully, the fake accent was dropped as randomly as it started, "Yeah, the upgrades! Places looks great!" She nodded, looking around trying to see what was different. Then she noticed all the gardening tools, and the fact the Fairest was dressed down for yard work. Uh oh. Work was on the horizon.

On the other hand, there were snacks. Sonnie arose from the chair and spun over towards the table laden with with food, where she snagged a muffin with her tail. "Hm, oh, my shapeshifting trick? Yeah, thanks! That's new! Glad you liked it! First time I did it at home, Fugly got freaked out and wouldn't stop barking at me." She chuckled.

[Seraphina]

Sera was the type of person that would let a dog sleep on her lap all day just cause she would feel bad about waking him. But Fugly didn’t seem tired, so that was good and the treats were offered.

Nodding enthusiastically, “Liam has been hard at work, I know he’s excited to show the upgrades off.” He had been working hard.

“It was amazing!” she never got tired of way they could alter themselves. Well, her not so much, but those who could. It was fun and awe inspiring to see. Laughing, “Oh no! Is he cool with it now?” she asks, deciding she needed a muffin as well. Sitting down, she begins to pick the muffin part into smaller pieces, “This is probably a dumb question, but I’m going to ask anyways,” a smirk on her lips, “but are you still you…like…mentally. I’ve always been fascinated by others who can do that, it’s just badass.” Sonnie was badass.

[Titania]

She arrives at the tavern announced by her mantle and starlight. She's dressed comfortably, with a cute sundress and a light jacket, and she's carrying a tray of sweets which she drops on the closest table.
"Hello", she announces herself with a cheerful tone, "Hope I'm not too late"

[Sonnie Wu]

Sonnie shook her head, "Um, no. It still weirds him out. Even when I tell him it's me. He just doesn't get it, I guess." She smiled then, and nodded, "Oh, yeah, I still got my own mind in the monkey body. I can even talk like that." Her smile broadened to a grin, as who was she to deny her own badassness?

"Hidey ho, good neighbor!" She waved to the arriving Telluric, then took a bite of the muffin. "Hm, banana chocolate chip."

Fugly, all wound up from Sera's attention, barked and ran towards Titania, perhaps hoping for more pets!

[Seraphina]

It was near impossible to not have your attention pulled by the sheer presence that was Titania. Add her gorgeous looks on top of that and you were pretty screwed.

Sera offers a warm smile, “Titania! So glad you could make it!” sounding truly happy to see the Telluric. And in fact, she was. Even though they shared a Court, the Nix still didn’t feel like she knew her. “Not late at all! Oh!” spying the sweets, “Those look delicious and you look amazing!” she had to try and figure out a girls night at her place with Sonnie and Titania. Maybe movie night? Maybe spa night?

Then a frown to Sonnie, “Aw, that’s too bad. Wonder if slowly over time he’ll get more comfortable with it?” one could hope. “That is so amazing!” happy at her friends’ new ability. Even more happy that it was downright adorable.

[Liam Gelt]

The ground rumbles just a bit, and there's an audible creak of muscle as something large corrects itself before slamming into a wall. Liam leans his face in with a broad smile. "Heeeere's Liam!" He ducks into the Tavern, dressed in a large-sized tank top and cargo shorts. He appears to be short of breath, but nonetheless cheerful. "Hey everyone!" He gives Sera a low nod of respect, and waves to Sonnie and Titania. "Hey, looks like you've seen the place with all of its clothes on. Or at least, most of it." He takes a brief moment to collect himself with a cup of tea before looking to the tools set to the side. "Looks like we've got some gardening plans today?" He leaves the opportunity open if one of the ladies wants to make a 'green thumb' joke. He's heard it all before.

[Seraphina]

There was a bit of surprise as she feels herself jump slightly.

“Quite the entrance Liam.” Says the Nix with a smirk.

A shake of her head, “Not really, I just wanted to have some here in case we needed them. Though I did have an idea about us having a garden area with the more exotic flowers the Hedge has to offer.” Eyes moving to Titania, “If I remember correctly, you’re quite talented with gardening. Think it’s something that is doable? What would it require do you think?” wanting to get Titania’s opinion, and wanting to see if she could find some passion her fellow Spring had. “I’ll admit, I’m not good at gardening and keeping plants alive.” Never been her thing. Could she learn? Probably.
