So she had a few things to work on before they got together again. Finding nonperishable items online, and seeing if there were any maps of the tunnels. One would be easier than the other, but she was still going to give it a shot.

The battery-operated lights were something she already had. They were something she used at her coffee shop, her own home and in the Tavern. But she did get some others that had a larger battery and some that were about the size of regular light bulbs. She also picked up some rechargeable batteries so they could switch them out as needed.

With that secured, she began looking online for other things. It looked like good food items would be things like beans, corn syrup, honey, salt and spices. As well as some really neat popup camping kitchen setups! Those would work set off to the side to grab if they needed to run. And they had pretty much everything in them! Notes were taken as well as websites saved. There was even a website dedicated to survival gear! Some of the items would be good to have.

Now the hard part. She had no pull in the city hall side of things, but there was a library and a Historical Society! So that was her next stop, under the guise of a student, not a lie, researching the history of the city during and before prohibition. She had heard rumors that Sacramento was one of the cities that had a rich history, and even rumors of tunnels under the city!

After hours combing through books, taking notes and asking questions, she had some information. Turns out there are people that love talking history and showing you where to find information! She only hoped it would be useful.
