The room smells of citrus wax and tobacco.
The Guardian stares at the old chart of the city sprawled on the table. Some spots have been marked with a red question mark.
He grunts, instinctively ashing yet another cigarette into the ashtray. A few seconds later, he plucks another from the pack.
Apophenia, the tendency to see the chain of causality between unrelated events. It could be it. But for now, he's quite fond of the flap of a butterfly wings thing.
It's going to be a long night.
Kaze enters wearing a leather jacket over a solid black shirt and black trousers and athletic shoes.
“Hey, Winter.” Kaze says.
Kaze has a phone and some protein bars.
Crystal entered, wearing what he thought a Guardian would appreciate: his dark blue suit was some blend of felt and cashmere - it was comfortable and still looked serious enough. The leather gloves and the woolen coat added the certain 'secret-police'-flair.
He smiled brightly at Kaze and dropped into a more serious facial expression as he addressed Winter. "Hey there. Reporting for duty." Crystal glanced at the chart, but didn't ask any questions yet. One thing was certain: this looked exciting!

Measure Twice, Cut Once. This was something Guru tried to aspire to, to be prepared the first time so there would not be a second. There were many layers to the Shaman, drug imbibing hippie, party boy, drug supplier, these were just a few. Now? Now it was game time and he had to prepare, chemicals and compounds was his bread and butter and thus he prepared taking ground up willow bark, filling up half and empty capsule while pouring in Supernal Truths into it as the capsule contained the hidden truths of the world. One pill, One truth. He placed it into the bottle giving it a kiss before heading out to meet everyone else.

Guru tried to show up prepared as he could. The Shotgun and ammo remained in the car for now, not needing it on hand in the circle. Guru wore a pair of Khaki Cargo pants, pockets light but capable of carrying a variety of things if he needed them. He wore a simple white tee shirt with no markings on it, looking like it was freshly bought for this occasion and didnt expect it to survive the mission. He wore the beige leather coat he had to protect from winters chill and hide the set of throwing knives he had sheathed as a precaution. The pair of black aviators he normally wore to hide his pupils served a different purpose today, a tool if needed. Finally, his messenger bag which often contained baked goods and other goodies contained a first aid kid, water, and jerky and nuts in case they ended up stranded somewhere.
He gave a silent nod to those assembled, remaining quiet for once but never still. Hed gather around the Chart that was on the table, not able to help himself but peek at it and try to make sense of it without context. It was in his nature.

Heading in prepared for whatever was about to happen she lived at the circle so it wasn't far to walk, dressed in her more standard clothing. This was not the time to impress no this was work, a quick movement of hands over her eyes to give herself the sight needed for the job along with a few words not meant for sleepers ears.

Moving in without saying a word, walking up to Winter and watching the chart.
"So what issues do we have on our hands today and where are we moving first?"
Giving them all a quick look and watching over them, hmm Guru would need to be guarded again luckily she had more options there than last time. Crystal were most likely not a fighter either but Kaze were there that was good he should be able to help. Clearly not showing her usual carefree attitude but rather fully focused on the task.
"Who here can drive and who have a car, if we need to travel far so do I think two cars would be good. Probably best if me and Kaze split up as well."

A single stare is enough to assess their threat level. And he gets to wonder what were they expecting by coming prepared for war.
Still, over-caution never killed anybody, and so he shrugs.
Kaze through, Kaze should know that Prime works subtly.
He takes another drag of his cigarette, and he nods slyly, while pointing with his palm at the map. Four locations have been marked so far. Two within the boundaries of the city, two among the outskirts, in the vast fields.
"Welcome", he mutters.

Kaze let the others draw their own conclusions, lets Skye make her suggestions. He watches Winter closely.
Sure enough, he's hinting.
Kaze steps up to scrutinize the map, studying it closely and paying special attentions to the marked areas and any notes Winter has made.

Guru was greeted with a bright smile and the wiggle of his eyebrows, Skye got a nod. It didn't show, but seeing the two decked out like this made Crystal question just what he signed up for.
Then, instead of elaborating on anything, the Guardian just pointed at his map.
Only when Kaze joined in on the silent study of the chart the Mastigos realized what was probably expected of them. "Oh. Yeah." He looked at it again, putting on the air of someone who totally knew what he was doing.

He remembered what Winter said during the Consilium meeting and tried to apply this information to the things he saw. Was there a pattern maybe?
Guru caught the look Crystal gave him and smirked, one shoulder coming up to a shrug. Condom Theory. Rather have it and not need it, sometimes when you go turning over rocks you find a snake. Skye, those pins anywhere near where we found the cursed artefact? He said with a quirked eyebrow wanting to double check the data before excluding it. Everyone was starring at the map and while many hands made quick work a second avenue of attack could provide helpful as well. Guru looked at the map and pulled out his smartphone, started to google the address. He smacked the side of the thing with a shrug letting everyone else keep starring at the map as he tried to do research on the tiny screen of his phone.

Looking over the map for a moment, carefully studying it and engraving the pins to memory before pointing to where they had encountered the beast and the thing they assumed were a cursed artefact.
"This would be where we encountered that beast but that doesn't speak anything where it came from, it's still a high possibility that it escaped from somewhere and the men were of to retrieve it."
Waiting after that, they were called here to perform a task better to wait and listen for what it were before jumping to various possible conclusions.
