James needed an answer before he really commited to a line. It was in his cautious nature but he also didn't want to be left out so he'd slip to the end of the Blue line until the guard answered Circe's question fully. Hopefully sale didn't mean FOR sale either or they might have a different set of problems on their hands.
"Do you know what they trade in sir? Any places of note we absolutely must see while we're here." If he was going to queue he might as well get something out of his time.

Lightning began to disturb the dark cumulous nimbus clouds in Vivian's eyes when he referred to her court Queen as a 'Karen.' She imagined him on fire to keep the smile on her face.
She was thankfully distracted by Anatole . Nodding to him with a lop sided grin, and followed him to the Buy line. The Elemental seemed determined to stay right up his boo boo kitty.
It didn't bother Vivian a bit, the whole get in the line thing. She just went with the flow of this whole thing. She was curious at this point if she was in the right line. I mean. She was pretty sure she was.....but these little twerps made her wonder.

The Purple and Red hatted imps seem impossibly sad, ears drooping, hands twisting together, eyes filling with tears. Dejected, the pair stomp back through the open portal. In contrast the Blue hatted one crows in delight! Laughing and giving the best tippy taps of it's small feet! The Blue hatted imp dances down the line, handing each of the Lost a blue strip of paper, when each piece is distributed, the imp sashays back towards the hobbit, one strip of paper left within the grasp of its spindly fingers.
"You will now be required to fasten the paper around the wrist of your dominant hand. The band will be displayed clearly over your clothing." The hobbit speaks, as the imp demenstraits, clearly wrapping the blue strip of paper around a wrist. "Fastening the paper bracelet requires an expenditure of Glamour." the hobbit looks each of the Lost in the eye. "Failure to comply will exclude you from enjoying the spectacular wonder of Ambrosial Delights." there is a harshness to the lines of the hobbits face now.
A moment to let that sink in before the hobbit gate guard in his pink uniform turns towards James, "You can find the Help Desk immediately upon entering Ambrosial Delights. They will share their information on which booths have what to trade."
If you want to take the risk and not securely fasten the paper bracelet, you can make a Sleight of Hand check Dex+Larceny-3, if you don't then please spend 1 Glamour and seal the bracelet on your wrist!

The pink hobbit had that air about him. The I have worked retail so you go die kind of air. His glare though did nothing to Circe, she'd seen worse. "Thanks fer yer time."
"Blue is the best it seems," she muses as she gets into the line with everyone else. Circe could have sneaked the band, but this was an attempt to connect with a nearby market. Long term planning and all that.
At least now she'd have some blue on her arms instead of just the black suit.

Vivian secured the blue band around her right wrist, carefully. Following the rules laid down by the hobbit.
She looked at the others a moment, wondering what they would come across at the market.
2 curved swords, 2 fore arm length utility/hunting knives in her boots, canteen, lures and fishing line, cheap tin cup, matches, length of sturdy rope, trail mix, beef jerky.

Did the Nix feel bad about the other imps looking sad? Yes. Upsetting someone, including imps and hobs alike is not something she enjoyed. Especially with those drooping ears. That really tore at her heart. Swallowing, she looks down, her decision already made.
Wait, they needed to spend Glamour for this? That seemed….odd. Nothing she had experienced before.
But they came this far, and she felt safe with who she was here with. Things went bad, she felt they could handle it. Especially with two Summers.
Taking the blue band, she places it on her right wrist, over the sleeve of her Hedgespun jacket and secures it.
Bottle of water, bag of trail mix, 2 sun catchers, 2 necklaces, golden dagger, hedgespun jacket and necklace(see sidebar), bandages and gauze, notebook with pencil with a few sketches inside. WP 3 Health 7

James was keenly attuned to sorrow, he could feel it in the Imps even if he could harvest it he assumed doing so would be a breach of hospitality. Also not a great first impression, though the thought amused James endlessly. He secured his blue band around his right wrist, sorrow paying the toll.
"We should go to the info booth, get maps, get directions but then what? We going to group up by what we're grabbing or staying as a group. I certainly wouldn't mind exploring with you all. We do need to say hi to Legs and company. Maybe trade that trademark to them eh?" He said with with a snort as he glanced sideways to Anatole.

The Lost seal the bands around their wrists. The strip if Blue visible and their eyes cannot help but be drawn towards it. The gate guard nods, and stands aside pulling the still dancing imp with him. "Thank you for your cooperation. Enjoy your time at Ambrosial Delights." and with that, the hobbit seems to ignore them entirely, retreating back to where he had been before Anatole had demanded the hobbit's attention.
One by one, the Lost enter the cut out door where the hobbit had retreated through. They see him ambling over to to something like a slim shed, shoving the door closed behind him. Though there is one wall of his small gate house that leans against, or is a part of the gate itself. The three imps have lined up along another line of the gatehouse, freezing in place and seemingly turning to stone. Now, looking more like garden gnomes, then devious imps.
The greater Market beyond the gate, calls their attention, even louder now that they've passed the gate, and gained their bands. With the directions the hobbit guard had given them, they know how to reach the help desk. If they want to head that way, instead of simply wandering around the Market, and possibly getting lost....
So finally at the Market! I need to know if you wanna go to the help desk or if you just want to explore organically, or even head over to Legs and Co first before doing either of the former

"Good plan, boss man," Circe says to James as she saw no fault with his suggestion. Plus he was technically the reigning monarch now, right? She didn't have much to trade that she found of worth but that was barter economies for you. There was a reason mundies didn't do it anymore.
And lo and behold, it was a goblin market. "So," Circe waves her hand towards the direction of the help desk, "We are going ta get some professional help? I need. Hafta ask about giving out free samples of cioccolato so the sellers know it is good stuff."
Yes it was the Hedge and a place of danger for the Lost. But Circe wouldn't be Circe if she stopped completely. And it seemed a better bet than wondering around to get fleeced. The Summer Queen was certain that some hobgoblins would gladly give out directions to wayward buyers for the right price.
