Hedge Patrol II

Anatole doesn't contribute much beyond sinking to his knees. Palm's flat of the dusty ground he simply trembles and coughs, totally spent.

If anyone cared to notice, they'd see how wide his eyes were - staring blankly ahead. All the dwarf was seeing was the verdant tendrils reaching for him.

And Iron Meg's maw filled embrace.

[Saber Sloth]

The bloodsuckle that had dogged their steps, lost behind the closed Gate settles into the long wait, within the ruins of the cul-da-sac of Hollow houses, for more prey to ensnare, strangle.....consume.

As for the Lost now beneath Funderland, they take their time to bring their charges up the long way back to Funderland proper, see them rested and healed.

It would take time to discover the answers to a million unasked questions, but one thing the Patrollers knew for certain, they've definately been on this patrol much longer then a day.

And we're finally, finally done!!
