"Well, it doesn't burn when I pee, so I guess we'll have to stick to gasoline." Sonnie shrugged innocently, and went about trying to help with the creation of molotov cocktails again. Using a funnel of any sort didn't occur to her, so she just bulled ahead with the original plan.

"Carry gas on my back? Like, just to pour all over the stag?" The Beast paused, looking at the canister in her hands. Yes, it was dangerous and stupid. Yet, she pondered the concept for a minute. Probably best not to give Sonnie ideas.

Anyway, back to pouring!

"Good Sera," Circe grunts to Coco as she quickly retrieves a big enough bottle. The Summer uses her tool to cut a funnel and some tape to finish it up. And the unicorns couldn't wait to work. Aaaand neither did Sonja. The elf sighs, "Patience is a virtue."

"I don't think even chugging absinthe in would make yer pee flammable," she brings over the funnel, "Some Elementals might do it by default though."

Wait, Sonja could run while carrying an adult? "If Sonja can bounce around with that much weight and ya wanted ta burn shit, why not a flamethrower? They're legal in a few nearby states."

[Saber Sloth]

The Springs, now with more knowledge on how the gas leaves the container s l o w l y p o u r the gas into the glass bottles Coco brought, as Seraphina wrangles the pop bottle and the duct tape Circe helpfully provided. After their makeshift funnel is put to use their efforts are far more successful and soon, each of the eight bottles Coco brought as full, and ready to be of use.

There's still gas splashed on the tables and the floor. Covering their hands and clothing. They stink like a gas station, but they have their Molotov Cocktails.

[Circe]

"Oooookay, Sera?" She looks at the Spring monarch, "Do you have a hose in this tavern? I'd even take a seltzer nozzle or a bottle, we should wash off some of the petrol if we can. Hands at least."

The Fairest isn't just being cleanly, it was a safety issue for even trying to use the gasoline bombs. Nor did she really wait for Seraphina to confirm as she checked for something to wash off the gasoline from her arms. If not, a dish rag and one of her own waters would have to do.

[Coco]

"Thorns, but if we had some cell reception, I bet we could look up a good way to deal with the gas. But, I wasn't raised like some kind of grease monkey, so I have no ideas...sorry, Sonnie," Coco added, shooting her friend (were they friends?) an apologetic look.

There was a reason the phrase had jumped into her mind, though, that being the literal monkey person covered in gas.

"Do we at least have a fire extinguisher? If we're careful, then, I don't know, the chances of us burning to death are probably low. Either that, or we come back tomorrow."


The Wasp shrugged. She was willing to risk it. It was moreso the smell that was bothering her, moreso than the fear of fire. More fool, her, probably.

[Seraphina]

A look of concern, “Uh Sonnie, if that’s happening, you should really see a doctor.” Cause yeah, that wouldn’t be good.

Chuckling, “Sorry Circe, patience isn’t something I have.” A shrug, it was true.

“A flamethrower? Aside from attempting to get one, would it even work in the Hedge? Mechanical things tend to not do so well in there. So this will have to do.” Gesturing to the bottles.

“Hose? Uh,” looking around, “Maybe?” she didn’t know. “But we do have a sink!” pointing behind the bar, there was even some scented soaps that the Nix had brought in a while ago.

Nodding, “That would have been great.” Remove them getting burned from the whole equation.
“I don’t think so. But it would probably only take a few minutes to pop up to the park and grab some. And maybe some new shirts if we wanted.” Maybe they could swing that.

[Sonnie Wu]

"Hm?" Sonnie blinked at Coco, then shrugged, apparently not offended or anything. Instead, she was sniffing at her clothing. "My jeans could use a rinse, I guess." Wouldn't do for her legs to catch on fire. That would be... not fun.

"Naw, my pee is fine, thanks for asking!" Smirking, the Beast went to the sink and turned on the water, then proceeded to remove her pants and run them under the spout.

She paused, expression curious, as she was ringing out the denim, "What is this sink connected to? There's no plumbing in the Hedge, is there?" It was funny, how Hollows worked.

Pants rinsed out and wrung out, she laid the damp thing across the bar to let them dry for a few minutes, all while standing around nonchalantly in her underwear (which had bananas on them). "So, are we waiting or what?"

[Circe]

"That'll work," Circe used the sink to clean of her hands and a wash cloth to wipe down the rest. Though her coat was probably a total loss but it was disposable. So she ditched the coat.

As for the bug's question, "Getting one wouldn't be hard. Just hafta let ya hold my guns while I go inta a hardware store ta buy one," her tone is matter of fact. It wouldn't be a problem and she'd no reason to explain the skin suit to anybody that asked. Then Seraphina got a wry smile, "I find patience helps with aiming and don't see why it wouldn't work. Guns do and a flamethrower is a squirt gun with a pilot light."

Well the old military ones were, Hollywood had flashier ones. Then laughs at Sonja's words. Because that plumbing question brought up some images to her head. "Oh ho ho ho ho! I am sure if there is Hedge plumbing Sonny it is more Mario Bros then municipal, oh ho ho ho ho!"

She holds up the wet dish rag, "Ya folks need help wiping down? Ya can use my coat too, it is soaked through with petrol anyway."

[Coco]

"Ok, first of all, I know the Hedge doesn't have fire codes, but how the fuck does the Tavern not have a fire extinguisher? I mean -- you know what, never mind. Fuck it, fuck everything, let's just go," the Wasp exclaimed, starting to pack some of the Molotovs into her backpack, vertically, of course. With enough of them packed in there, the chance of them spilling was non-existent. Because, honestly, if they had to start sprinting, Coco would just leave the fucking backpack behind.

Which, given how much of a fucking shitshow things had been so far...

If a giant cabin carried by witches legs came after them, she wouldn't be surprised, that's all she was saying.

[Seraphina]

Well, that was good to know? Slipping her Hedgespun jacket off, she walks over to the sink. Using some of the water to wipe down the coat. Then, takes her pants off too, wiping them down.

Pausing, she lifts them to her nose and smells, then wipes some more. The process is repeated until she was confident, she couldn’t smell the gas anymore. Then she does the same with her tank top.

Shrugging, “I don’t know. Ingrid did a lot of the base work for the Tavern way back when.” Sera just never questioned it.

Looking to Circe, “Orrrrr,” dragging the word out cause she hated repeating herself, “we just grab one from maintenance if we really want it.” Why go to the store when the park had them? And seriously, did no one listen to her?

To Coco, “It might have one, I’ve never looked. Not even sure if it would work in here anyways.” And if they wanted one, it was easy to remedy.

Another shrug as she put her jacket back on and put some of the bottles in her bag. “Last time we had to out run some Briar Wolves, but if we run into them again, I have a trick that might buy us some time again.” But she hoped they were off somewhere else, annoying someone else.
