"Yes, I am," she answered Aurora, "Settled, but still much to learn. Obviously," the Warlock smiled.
"Back in time?" Hadn't Pixel said something before about a time machine? Back at the picnic? "I'm no Enchanter. Is that even possible?" This Clock sounded increasingly threatening. A part of her started to regret joining this study task. Still, she made no move to back out.
Naga listened quietly to the Libertine's explanations, nodding quietly as she tried to collate the information. There was her answer. "An Imperial spell. I see."
The sudden appearance of Skye caused a raised eyebrow. "Magus Skye. I didn't know you'd be joining us."
Especially after how irritated Pixel was with you last time.
Nodding, “That’s also the last I heard of it doing anything. I had heard before I left, that it had been silent, not working.” So why were they playing with it?
The pink haired girl gets a nod, but if she wanted to be quiet, fine.
Blinking a few times, appearing deep in thought for a few moments. “I remember it just appearing here one day. But, that was many years ago and a lot has changed since then. So if he did, I’m sorry, but I don’t remember. But I remember hearing about it being crafted as you say. As to why?” a shrug, “I have no clue.” And she didn’t remember hearing anyone knowing why.
“You have to keep in mind that the Clock changed not only Sacramento’s history, but the time line for some. Even changed the Path one walked. So memories are scattered.” At best.
“There was a guy in Sacramento at the time the Clock was here, and he went with a team back in time. Where he died. A little bit after that, we went back in time again, somewhere in the 80s I think, and he was there. But he was different, but he knew us. Not sure if that’s who you’re looking for, but I don’t think I’ve seen him since. And this was like, six years ago?” another shrug. A lot of time had gone by.
Looking to Naga, “With this,” a gesture to the Clock, “it is. We don’t even know how it works. When it turns on, it seems to already have a destination and year set. Usually, I think each date and year it sets, gave us a chance to stop the Seer’s from doing something. But, things can get delicate as, like I said, it can fuck with the here and now.” Or what she remembered as the here and now.
Back to Pixel, “But why the sudden interest in it? It’s been silent for a while now.”
A simple wave of her hand towards Naga.
"It was a last second invite hence my late coming to the party, always good to have another meat shield around I guess."
Listening to the words, this was not a time to speak or take much action by herself before either a plan was set, orders were given or she had a duty to fulfill.
Her eyes listening intently, deeply interested in what events to come whilst eyeing everyone around her, trying to memorize their appearance, their builds, their mannerisms and body language every little detail could aid her in her mission.
Skye is given a smile and a nod. It was nice to have other Arrows again.
The last piece of the puzzle? Didn't that mean you had the answer complete?
"So... you wan to try and find an archmagus, and master of Time and Space you have found here in Sacramento?" Phoenyx's tone is curious. Archmagi were the folk of legend, and an Archmagi with control over either of those things.... well. It would depend on what the temperament of the mage in question was.
She looks to Naga. "Neither am I, but either it was the truth or all the mages involved concocted an identical lie." And some of those that did were too stupid or too unimaginative to lie.
The Arrow looks around, nodding to Aurora's description. "No-one have ever truly been able to understand how either the clock or the Circle actually function, which has made people believe they are Imperial in nature. However, when the clock activates, the dangers faced by this Consilium have been very real."
The comment between Naga and Skye is interesting. "Has everyone met Skye already?" she asks, looking around.
"No worries." He doesn't seem especially bothered by any holes in her memory. In fact, he doesn't seem to be especially invested one way or another.
"I'm honestly not that interested? I bumped into Winter and he wanted to look deeper. I'm calling you here because this seemed like a thing other people were interested in. Winter's in prison, so I'm here to pass the intel along* or assist if anyone wants to scrutinize it for another look." He mirrors the Shaman's earlier shrug. "It's up to you all what to do with it."
This little Libertine is out to lunch in ten.
"So what are you guys thinking? How do you want to do this?"
As Phoenyx points out Skye Pixel nods his head.
"We met yes."
He wasn't sure how her invite was late when the same calls and letters went out to each order and individual, but that wasn't being brought up further.

"I suppose some scrutiny wouldn't hurt, and would be the place to start." Naga looked about between those present, mentally noting that none were Acanthus. "Someone versed in the Time Arcanum would be handy, I would think. Lacking that, we'll have to make do."
She looked to Aurora and smiled, "As the one person here with the most - or any - experience with the Clock, I of course concede to your wisdom on the matter, Master Aurora."
There was a half-hearted shrug, “I’m not sure if that’s a good idea actually. The Clock comes to life when there is something we have to do. Hunting down an Archmagus who may or may not have had something to do with its construction doesn’t seem like a good idea. Lets say we find them, then what? Ask them to take it back, demand answers about it?” what was the plan?
A nod at Phoenyx’s words, “Very real. And the costs have been steep.”
A glance to the pink haired girl, “Skye? I’m Aurora, pleased to meet you.” There, everyone knew everyone.
Wait, he wasn’t that interested? “I think at some point, there was a lot of interest in it. But then it went silent, and I think interest waned. It’s been silent for a long time actually.” Was it worth poking that bear? She wasn’t sure. “But I understand why someone would be interested in it, after all, it’s essentially a time machine of sorts.” So that was cool.
“If people want to take a look, then I say we let them.” What was the worst that could happen?
Shaking her head, “Not my thing.” At least, it had been a while.
“Well, if Archmagus put this together, I’m not sure what we would hope to be able to gain. If we’re able to see anything at all.” Powerful magic made this, and they, were, well, not. “And my question remains, what are we looking to get out of this? Was it a better understanding? Because I think we’re at a disadvantage with the power that went into this. If people just want to look at something this powerful and see what they can learn, then I don’t see the harm.”

Just standing quietly and listening in, this was an event happening around here and her first time to see her fellow awakened in action, to see the ones she should help guard and to know those around her.
The mission or task they were about to undertake of little concern to her, she just wanted to see them in action and be ready to protect them should anything occur.
Upon being certain that it didn't seem like they would be leaving, taking of her bow carrying case, taking out the bow and starting to prep the bow, placing the arrows in her quiver on her back and being overall ready should something happen, it was always better to be prepared in advance.
Looking at Aurora as she strings her bow.
"Ahh so you're the roomie" glancing her over "you're cute, I would love for you me and Phoenyx or just you and me to talk later but for now that is of little concern."
Fixing her bow and arrows whilst listening, private matters were not interesting nor was taking time away from people she just wanted to be prepared to put an arrow in any threat that would appear or slice them dead should that be needed.
The Arrow listens, quietly. Learning, Observing. Naga recieves a similar shake to Aurora. "Time is something outside of my study."
She looks to Aurora. "Speaking personally, it would be useful if we can know the actual purpose of the spell, since it seems to move bth through time and space without a seeming consistency. Also, if possible, the duration - if it has one. When the spell ends, I would have thought it is unlikely to continue with the effects it has performed in the past.... though with an Imperial Spell, who can say." Her words are even and measured.
"Is anyone experienced with the Prime Arcanum? Analysing the nature of magic is within it's domain, and I have some experience in it." Phoenyx looks around, giving Skye a small not as she starts her preparations.
"I don't have Time but I do have Prime." He nods to the fire bird. "We went over it with the Space and Time sights so I was thinking Matter and Prime would be the best places to start. I can grant the matter sight but not the Prime one if anyone needs it."
To Aurora he simply sighs before continuing.
"The purpose is finding out what this big honking thing in our yard is. You're operating under the assumption this thing just happened to fall into our laps and they would be angry if we looked into it. If there were legendary power level mages crafting this who mastered space and time they could have placed it anywhere and anywhen, but they chose here with you. Maybe have some confidence in why they trusted you guys instead of assuming the worst."
Besides, if something was crafted with the purpose of showing off you know they want it investigated.
Finally his attention shifted to Skye, if only to roll his eyes. It was exactly what he expected and somehow still surprisingly unprofessional.
