Party at Momo

[Sonnie Wu]

Like the two Monarchs, Sonnie shied away from games of telling personal information. No good came of that sort of thing, really.

She nodded to Sera, "Yeah, but I guess out raid group will have to be formed another day."

"Darts? Like they play in English pubs?" The Beast looked about curiously. "Is there a dartboard in this nightclub?"

[Yamiyo Lillich]

Damn she really liked the 2 truths one lie game, it was always fun to see what weird things people would say.

"Well sharing is caring but I blame it on not having any siblings to share things with growing up....Or far to many to share with depending on the time."
Looking like she is about to say more but quickly stopping herself.
"Ohh that Jenga sounds fun. I assumed they were both Nintendo or maybe Playsation games, not really any difference you have a controller and try to win against another player or a computer and whatnot and then shout in fury when you lose"


Looking with a smile to the adorable monkey girl.
"I think so, or at least I hope so, I normally hang at the depot this is my first time here, but I doub't that would have been a kind place to ask people to show up to."

Laughing a bit imagining some of the people showing up to that club before looking out at the group.
"Or we can always take one last dance on the dance floor and head home to the Queen and play with her Jenga set if a calmer setting would feel better for you all? Or a round of monopoly at my place, we can treat Sonnie here to some of my delicious candy"

[Seraphina]

A light shrug, “I’d be willing to give darts another go.” And who knows? Maybe she’d actually get the dart to hit the board.

“Without me. I’m afraid I haven’t played a video game in a long time. But I will gladly supply you with candy.” That was a thing, right? Gamers needing to be feed or something.

“If not, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find a club or bar that had one. Though I think we’ll be dressing any bar we find.” She says with a laugh.

“Oh it is! I had gotten it for a pol party, though I don’t think it was used.” Which sucked. But she had it in case she wanted to play.

“I think we can find a bar that has some. The night scene around here has too many bars and clubs to count.” Not that she was against having people over. But Yamiyo was still too new.

[Rhodes]

"Remember what we said about letting people know where you live? It applies in lots of ways," Rhodes says calmly to the succubus. She seemed very trusting and innocent. It was how they worked their way into your life. Still, she had sworn an Oath, which made things a little better. "No offence intended dear, but we are private people by nature. It takes a lot of trust to invite someone into one's home, and we don't all wear our hearts on our sleeves." She was so open, she was going to be hurt by someone. He could see it. Better to learn now, among those that would show understanding.

Show understanding? You've softened in your time here.

There's a tired smile. "Neither have I, not in many years. No longer my sort of thing, I fear." And his competitive streak was an ugly one. Better to abstain than be shown up by the simian.

"Of course the night is young! Why retire too soon?" He could think of many reasons, not least the echoing effects of Winter that still gave him pause. But it was a pleasant change. Almost relaxing, as much as a Lord of Fear could. And for what he couldn't? Well, he was a master of the poker face, after all.

Rhodes was perhaps right to fear playing darts against the Beast. Monkeys were quite good at throwing... things. That Sonnie herself was skilled with throwing knives might be an indicator of how well she'd do with the classic pub game.

"Aw, man, a giant Jenga? I gotta see that sometime!" That just sounded awesome, and she'd hear no arguments against that!

"Candy? Yisssss!" So many people wanted to just give her sweets! It was great! She threw her arms up in victory!

After draining her second drink of the night, she gave a soft burp. "Ahhh, good stuff! So, now what? Go find darts? More dancing? What're we doing, ladies and Rhodes?"

[Yamiyo Lillich]

"Well then perhaps we should see if they have darts here if not go to another place that might have one? You all know this city far better than I do"

Looking over to Sonnie.
"If we need to leave so would I love a dance with you first though ohh sugar baby of the sugary cereals."
Hopping it would at least sound a little amusing to the little monkey.

"As for games I know basically nothing, my siblings rarely allowed me to use them when I had siblings when I didn't have them so did I rarely have access to games hence I escaped into my books, if you do have another pool party so would I love to play it."
Trying to push the thoughts of seeing so many lost it bathing clothes, her eyes lightly distracted.

Emptying her glas.
"We could always go to the depot I know they have a dart game and some nice friendly people." Smiling a bit as she says it, hoping everyone would get the joke.

Looking at the dread lord, hearing his words not fully comprehending them.
"Call it overeager or the curse of having been on the roads for most of my time back, for me things have always been temporary even before coming back from" pausing for a moment "my foreign exchange studies. As such I know very little of taking care, nothing to think of if you're gone as the sun rises anyways or perhaps gone with the wind."

[Seraphina]

See, she remembered this lesson. While she’d love to show off her home to Yamiyo, it wasn’t wise. Not yet anyways.

Smirking, “It was really never my thing, but more a tool to get what I needed.” You’d be amazed how much Glamour you could get from batting your eyes and sucking at darts. “But I remember it being fun.” It was different.

“If not darts, then perhaps pool? Or staying put and enjoying the company.” Both worked for her.

“Yeah, you didn’t see it?” she asks Sonnie, “Well, when it’s warm enough, I’ll break it out. Or I could bring it to the coffee shop and set it up on the patio. But it’s fun.”

Giggling, “You know I’d never deny you candy. Why do you think I buy it in bulk?” she asks with a wink.

Pulling out her cell phone from a small clutch, tapping on the screen, “Well, there are a few bars around here that look like they could have darts or pool or both.” She knew the city, but not the club scene. Not like she used to. The coffee shop made Glamour easier to get now. Then the sweet Glamour of Dreams. “Or you two go show the rest of the club how to dance. I can keep the drinks coming if you want.”

A gentle smile to Yamiyo, “Being careful about those things is important to learn and practice. For many reasons. Maybe when we meet to discuss those wonderful books you sent me, we can discuss it in more detail.”

[Rhodes]

Rhodes gives Sonnie a smile. "Ladies choice, naturally." What kind of gentleman would say otherwise?

Ah. So, Miss Lillich's own fleeting behaviour was what made such a flippant approach to homeliness. "I see. Well, if one isn't skipping town every few weeks, a little more care is needed perhaps. I'm sure Sonnie here would be happy to take you you through the best ways." It was obvious the golden winged succubus, whatever she looked like beneath, was somewhat smitten with the monkey. If the Dread Lord recognised the 'depot' Yamiyo spoke of, he didn't make it clear.

As Sera helped plan, his hand gently rubbed her leg. He had nothing to add to her comments.

The Mask from humanity is so restricting. It seems I have few humanly sociable hobbies left....

"Oh, pool!" Easily distracted monkey was already on to the new idea, "Rack 'em up! 8 ball in the corner pocket! I wanna be a pool shark! Sharp? Shark?" Which was it? She pondered that for a moment.

If Yamiyo was smitten with Sonnie specifically, the Beast seemed oblivious to it. As far as she could tell, the Romancer was smitten with everyone. In any case, she nodded to Rhodes, "I used to suffer from wanderlust. I spent like a year or so galavanting around the western states." After fleeing San Francisco for various reasons. "I'd be happy to impart my wisdom upon you, young Padawan." She bowed her head graciously to Yamiyo.

"Okay, let's hit a bar or pool hall or whatever! The seedier it is, the more fun!" And Sonnie had been in some seedy places. "Once I was in this bar brawl with some Hell's Angels and hoo-boy was that a crazy night! I'll have to show y'all the scar sometime." She held up a hand displaying all of the digits, "Five stitches!"

Drinking some of her water, it was always good to hydrate at all times especially when drinking alcohol.
"Can't say it's my most played one either, but it has been a good way to pass the time during my" over pronouncing the next word to make sure anyone could tell she was lying "few, visits to the bar scene."
Wonder how many times she had sneaked in or flirted her way into various clubs long before she was legal to enter them oh well the past is the past.

"For me anything works, perhaps pool could be interesting since it tends to be a bit calmer and easier to talk whilst playing?"
Looking at the dread lord, slowly answering with an uncertain voice.
"If that is what you say then I shall try to remember that, I think the longest I have been put were two, two and a half week a while back. I was extremely tired and met this weird person that gave me a home for a while so I took the chance to rest before heading on. Mostly I have rarely spent more than a weekend in the same place and most of the time just a week or two at most in any place and that is only the big cities like N.Y and L.A, really didn't like L.A."

Laughing as the adorable monkey wanders over her ideas then quickly blushing to the bow, she was speaking strange words and acting in a manner of how she was used to act. Quickly bowing back, hitting her head on the table, feeling her cheeks flushing red.
"Thank you kindly ohh cutest of ladies." She had no idea what a padawan were though but it didn't seem to be said with any evil or down looking meaning so better forget about that for now.
Hearing the rest of her words, quickly getting up, taking Sonnie's hand and looking at her with care, if only those damn eyes could stop undressing people.
"You must be careful, are you hurt? How are you feeling?"

Remembering that this was in the past and how she had just errored, quickly letting go of Sonnie's hand switching her attention to her Queen.
"I hope you didn't have the books already? I tried for a series that I hoped would be your type of books, I got in luck and actually found two sets of the entire series so I got them both. The nice antiquarian even gave me an extra book for free that belonged in one of my collections. Sadly none of them were new however at least to me a used or old book is better than a new one, each time you open a new page, feel the paper or the scent you wonder who has read this before you, how did it make them feel, what stories have this book been through and is it happy being with me? I know it's silly to think of the feelings of the inanimate but with books I just cannot help it, ohh I will be looking forward to hear your wisdom thank you kindly."
Clearly oversharing and speaking on to avoid her blunders from earlier minutes.
