The chill was unexpected, and a bit cold on her legs, and she eyes him. What was that all about? Sonnie didn’t mean anything by it. Yet it clearly set something off.

Clients? Clearly, she missed something along the way here.

Her eyes dance playfully, “Oh you’re fine.” She teases, “But you’ve left quite the impression actually.” She reassures him.

“Side? I didn’t realize this was a sides thing.” The trembling of his hand was surprising, and she squeezes it gently, looking into his eyes with love. The other hand rests on top of their joined hands.

Sapphires widen at Sonnie’s comment, “Why Sonnie, you been taking strangers to bed?” she asks with a playful smirk.

“Thanks very kind of you. Though I’ve only seen the one night where she couldn’t take care of herself.” The Nix would step in before Sonnie got herself in trouble.

Wait…was she talking about getting money from guys?! Ok, now it made sense. But, whatever worked for her fellow Spring. As long as she was careful. Seemed like something that could go south very quickly.

[Rhodes]

Eyes glance around. He seemed to have caused a little disquiet. What? Pointing was rude.

He smiles at Yamiyo. "Just be sure never to meet where you live, make sure to change phones regularly, and cut things off if they try to connect. Work like that requires you to keep emotional and mental distance from your clients while appearing genuine."

"As have you," Rhodes whispers to Sera, smiling and sounding relieved. The look in her eyes told him all he needed.

The Dread Lord leans back, sipping his scotch.

Sonnie looked from Yamiyo to the Fairest couple, wondering if they'd actually answer those sorts of questions. Apparently not.

She faked a gasp at Sera and laughed, "Who me? Well, these is this older gentleman, big mustache. He's the captain of... um... a cereal boat?" The heck was Crunch the captain of, anyway? "Anyway, Yami is the one that wants to bang him." She giggled.

As Springs go, Sonnie wasn't the sort for many random sexual encounters. Her Desires leaned towards athletics, martial arts and, of course, eating. Oh, the eating.

No answer to her question, the sudden cold still feeling in her bones, whilst she were aware of mantles from before so was it not something she had encountered that much of before.
"I shall be careful sir, the primary pattern I am going for just now which seems to be on the rise is just the vulnerable one to meet for dinner and seeming to be someone they can help, to assist and make them feel superior. A lot of people that might be deemed as successes, plenty of money, high status career and so forth gets issues and pressure from above crumbling their self confidences so when they feel like they can matter, that they can be superior so do they gladly spend their money on that to help negate those feelings. Not to mention beauty always attracts, I don't live somewhere fancy so few meetings will be near my home as for contact so is it all through websites and later on apps. They never gain my address, my phone number or even my real name. I do not know if it will prove successful but it is my trial at the moment."

Laughing a bit at her Queens words of taking strangers to bed, for her that was far to common, even knowing their names or the name she had given them were a confusion in her mind.
"Good to know, I have far to many faults in that area myself."

Thinking for a moment
"Now that would be a badge of honor but I wouldn't wanna steal thy flame from you, I can take the drunken bow tie one instead."

"Say would you all like to play a game?"

A reassuring smile was offered when he glanced around.

Another gentle squeeze as she picks up her lemonade, content to follow the conversation for now.

“Oh, an older gentleman huh?” she plays along, “And a captain? Sounds like quite the catch.” She could play along with Sonnie all night. “If she does, I suppose that would depend on if you are willing to share or not.” A small sip of her drink, eyes watching over the glass.

“What sort of game?” she asks leaning against Rhodes.

[Rhodes]

Yamiyo is given a small nod. "It sounds like you have thought things through. Have care, and good luck. Remember that a fool and his money are soon parted."

The Flowering watches the conversation unfold, content to watch the Springs enjoy themselves.

Eyebrows jump at the mention of games, followed by a smile as Sera leans in to him. "What manner of game?"

"Yeah, wealthy old naval man. Got my own sugar daddy, I guess." Loaded with Crunchberries, he is. You could say her ship has come in. The monkey shrugged and laughed.

Yamiyo's suggestion piqued her interest, "Oh! What kinda game? Checkers? Cards Against Humanity? Borderlands 3?" Sonnie took a drink and kept going. "Go fish? Jenga? World of Warcraft?" She might keep guessing all night. Best to just tell her now.

[Yamiyo Lillich]

A glance into the air, a silent shudder as her mind thinks about the word share.
"I am not really good at sharing I am afraid, neither things nor lovers so I better stick to the bow tie fellow instead."

"I thank you kindly, we shall see if this endeavor can bring me luck."

"Ohh cutest of ladies and here I thought I were the one who tried to gather sugar caretakers."
Then the list of games started flying from her mouth, trying to keep up with them all, barely even recognizing half of them.
"Umm I thought something more possible like darts, tell three things about yourself two lies and one truth then the rest will guess which one is the lie or something along those lines. But if anyone have any other suggestions so am I open to it. Sadly I don't own a" seeming to think for a second before continuing "Nintendo so I don't know much about borderlands or that war game you mentioned." Or was it playstation? Nevertheless it was the same thing in the end.

Taking a small sip of her drink.

Games were always fun. Though not as fun as the ones her and Rhodes played.

Then came Sonnies list of games. “Oh, I have an outdoor set of Jenga, the blocks are huge! It kinda takes the game up a notch.” Just adding to conversation.

“Most of us aren’t good at sharing.” A light squeeze on his leg. She was one of them.

“Darts? Never been very good at them, but I get the basic idea.” Throw the little thing at the board and make it stick. The other one she wasn’t sure about, lying hadn’t been her thing for a while, and she was out of practice. And then to have to think of a lie, that, well, would have hard. Smirking, “The war game is also a video game if my memory serves me right. Think I heard some customers talking about it. But I’m game for whatever.”

[Rhodes]

"Lies and... truth?" Rhodes asks lightly. That feels awfully familiar. It's always been so easy since I got back.Trying to shake the feeling, the hand on his leg brings a smile back to his lips.

"We could try darts? I admit it's been a while since I played. But we can try." The Flowering finishes his scotch.
