[Sonnie Wu]

"Hey, once. I only tried that once!" Sonnie took a sip of her drink. "You make it sound like a regular thing." She set her glass down on the table. "I mean, I'll probably try until I succeed, but it's about the principle of the thing!"

"Oh yeah! We're gonna hit the mall! It'll be awesome. Shopping montages all around!" She nodded, hearing the montage music in her head already.

"You were surprised?" The Beast grinned at Rhodes, "Try waking up in a bedroom you don't recognize, and then find out Sera doesn't have Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries!" She shook her head sadly. "Such a tragic morning."

[Yamiyo Lillich]

Ohh this sounded interesting.
"A trip, does that mean that you have a special place in mind you wanna go to? A different city perhaps or?"

Taking a sip of the drink.
"Thank you kindly, it is a trial mostly, I am going through this list of low alcohol content drinks to be able to not get to drunk to fast."
Looking herself over and shaking her head.
"A downside with a small body is that it cannot handle much alcohol."

Looking a bit embarrassed at the dread lords question, lightly looking away and speaking more softly than usual.
"Well I have launched a trial work, no net gain as of yet but it might earn me some money soon if things go as planned." A quick gulp "Sadly it is not the most noble of work though and a bit embarrassing to speak of, may I ask though what line of work you are in? To be able to dress as noble as you do I have my guesses but don't wanna sound to pretentious but I do guess that you have plenty of people under you and few if any above you."

Puhh the adorable monkey to the rescue, looking at her carefully with laughter in her voice.
"Well it does sound really cute but if that made you react then I would really love for you to see my food selection your reaction would be priceless to see, although I doubt you would enjoy any of the food."
Thinking back she couldn't even remember the last day she had eaten sugary cereal it must have been in her early teenage years or so.

[Seraphina]

She studies him a moment, wondering where his mind went. “That’s true. But I have a feeling you’d be quite good at it though.” And she sounded confident in that. There was a sly smile as she nodded, “Uh huh. And sometimes it’s not what you say, but what you do.” resting a hand on his leg with a knowing look.

Giggling, “Sorry about that. But I wasn’t about to let her go off on her own that night. Felt better knowing where she was.” A good friend doesn’t let someone that drunk wonder off. Nope.

Laughing at Sonnie, “Once that I know of.” She teases. “Still think the pool would be a good place to practice. That way you don’t hurt yourself. But I have all the faith in your ability to master it.” A nod.

Still laughing, “Well, I wasn’t planning on having guests. But rest assured, you will find that in the cabinet next time. And it would have been there that morning if you had told me.” Sticking her tongue out.

A shake of her head, “Nope, not me. The mall has a nice selection, and if we don’t find what we want, then we’ll simply turn it into a road trip.” It all was quite simple to her.

“Oh, well I hope you find one you like.” But she didn’t have much to add on the subject.

[Rhodes]

The Dread Lord chuckles. "Perhaps that's because we're adults, Sonnie." Causal sip of whiskey.

He can't help but smile at Yamiyo's flattery. "Some things take time. I'm sure you'll do well." The words came so easily to his lips, even if he didn't know. "Do you know, very few people ever ask me that. I spent a lot of time in a job I found heavily oppressive. So, when I finally quit, I found I'd developed a lot of skills in reading people and recognising their ticks. I found a way of putting that to more productive use." He smiles. "I play cards. Professionally. Appearance, like in so many things, is everything in that environment." It was easier and less risky than running cons anyway.

"You know exactly what I can do, gorgeous," he whispers to Sera. His hand finds her leg in return, fingers toying with the hem of her skirt.

There's a chuckle. "I know you wouldn't, darling. Just don't fill all the cupboards with cereal for Sonnie, okay?" She was so caring, she would if she thought it would make people happy.

[Sonnie Wu]

"I dunno," she shrugged at Yamiyo, "I'm small, and I can drink plenty." To demonstrate, she up-ended her glass and drained the rest of her drink, then proceeded to grin happily. Sonnie did have a considerable constitution, but did she always hold her liquor? How many did she have on the Night of the Butt Bite?

The Beast reached over the table and gave Sera's translucent hand a friendly squeeze, her eyes wide with admiration. "Thank you, you're such a good friend! My cereal heroine!"

"No, no, no, look," she said to Rhodes, pointing a finger at the Flowering, "You see, I need my Crunchberries. Some people need coffee to get going in the morning. I need Crunchberries. I am a grown ass woman, thank you." A sassy snap of her fingers was performed.

[Yamiyo Lillich]

"Well then I would gladly come with to the mall if you would have me, I am not the best personal shopper but I am not one to turn down a night like that with such a grand company."
Licking her lips before continuing.
"I do still look forward to that book club meeting though."

Looking over at at the dread lord.
"Hmm then I am honored to have been one to asked and to have gotten an answer and fair is fair I am testing my hands at" freezing up, clearly having a hard time to get the words out, trying to sign it once, twice, thrice but not on until the sixth trade and in a very quick speech "sugarbaby".

Quickly escaping to the adorable monkey.
"You do know that it takes around 45-75 minutes for the alcohol to fully strike through your body before you feel it's full effect right?"
Giggling a bit
"Then again I think you eat various threats that is able to suck up the alcohol in contrast to me."
Leaning over and whispering in little Sonnie's ear.
"There isn't a single thing in my home like candy, ice cream or anything edible with sugar it is all healthy stuff, I have never even tried that captain crunchy in all my life."
Wanting the other two to be able to see her reaction without having heard the context first.

Taking out her phone, writing something on it and then looking up again.

[Seraphina]

Picking up her drink, she takes a sip as she listens. And was surprised that not many people asked him what he did. She’d asked when they had dinner together. But she was naturally curious about people. And was especially curious about him.

As she puts the glass down, she looks at him from under her lashes, “I do?” she asks innocently.

Laughing, “Oh I wouldn’t fill them all. But I need to make sure she’s set if she has to crash at the house again.” Have to take care of her Court and all.

Beaming at the Beast, “Anytime!” friends were hard to come by, so when you found a good one, you did everything you could for them.

The whole scene, especially Sonnie pointing a finger at Rhodes and then the snap, had Sera laughing. A hand holding her stomach as the scene unfolding, the pain from laughing evident.
“Love the snap girl!” she cheered the Beast on. Though she did lovingly squeeze his leg.

Catching her breath from laughing, “Of course you’re welcome to come with us.” Why wouldn’t she?

Wait, sugarbaby? What’s that?

[Rhodes]

The Changelings feel an chilling blast of air from the Dread Lord, though his expression doesn't change initially. "Let's not point fingers, shall we?" he says icily, the emerald gaze hardening just a little.

However, Yamiyo's answer piques the Dread Lord's interest. "Really?" He asks, curiousity readily evident. "Now, that is interesting. You really must be careful which clients you meet, Miss Lillich, but if you can pull that off... especially with your particular talents..." He leans back, grinning. "You must let me know how you get on."

The hand squeezes the Nyx's leg at her "innocent" question. "Have I left so little an impression? I'm hurt, sweetheart. Truly, I am." Amusement is rife though his voice.

"Who's side are you on?" He asks Sera, trying for playful but falters slightly. A shot of fear races through him, into his eyes. Trembling fingers find hers.

Would she pick them over me?

"5 minutes. 45 minutes. Whatever. I'll still be here! I just like the taste." She nodded.

Sonnie listened curiously to Yamiyo's whisper, then shrugged nonchalantly and said her response out loud, "I dunno. You should give him a shot. He's great in bed."

Cereal in bed was great!

Rhodes' reply was... unexpected. The Beast blinked, looked at Sera, then shrugged. "Okaaaaaaaay..."

"Why thank you, girl!" She winked at Sera, thankful for the distraction, and performed another snap, this one a triple in a Z formation.

[Yamiyo Lillich]

The surprised look on her face was obvious to read, now that was one answer she had not expected at all.
"Well if you say so, I do think I should be prepared to be of aid should you drink to much tonight though."
Hoping the two lovebirds would just toss the comment aside as one of the monkey girls jokes, luckily she said he and not she and they should all know that girls were her preference.

Seeing their bonds made it hard to fully understand their dynamics, hard to fully know how to react or what was a necessity and what was genuine, her past having given her a far to bad grasp at social norms.
"You are all very cute together, I thank you for the offer to join you all on such a trip, send me a text of when and where and I will gladly be there."
Winking and trying to look cute.
"It would also give me another number to save in my phone to make my current contact not feel so lonely"

Looking to the dread lord, now why did this interest him, was it care or was it carefulness?
"Well I did have some luck getting aid from a IT student to photoshop some photos and I present myself as an actor and social chameleon as long as they go into it believing it and I manage to just meet them once so do I believe that I can have a chance to earn enough to make a living, get fancy meals and have most of my time quite free to spend as I please. The advantage of always meeting in social setting with plenty of people around is also quite good for safety. I do thank you for your concern on the matter and will keep you informed."

Taking a sip of her drink.
"However would you mind telling me something about yourself, nothing special just something you like, that you enjoy or something outside of making a living, outside of your warming love that is something you enjoy in this world?"
