Looks good to me too!
Looks good to me too!
Sera and Rhodes
The main office is large but cramped. Vending machines pushed together near the door. A chunky desk is the highlight, and centre stage. The linoleum is yellowed and stained, even as a pimpled and pock marked man fruitlessly moves a wet mop across the floor.
The women behind the desk arches a manicured brow, high and severe. Heavy makeup obvious and caking. Eye swerve to Sera and then to Rhodes, sparkling as she smirks. Clicking her acrylic nails on the surface of the desk.
"Need an hour honey?"
Circe and Abe
Outside, the Fairests move along the fence line. Up close it looks in even more disarray. More trash, twined with weeds. Plant matter growing through the metal links, the plastic and paper. Crumbling stucco lines the cracked concrete, brushed up against the walls it fell from. Windows, evenly spaced. A few are open, several not. Smoke snakes out of the grated screens, but from the one that carry the tell tale sounds of headboards hitting walls.
Perception please, and please remember your Clarity will effect perception!
Keeping close to the fence, Abraham takes the dismal state of the surroundings in, saying nothing but observing every detail. At first, he is not looking at anything specific - simply making sure there's no one waiting to ambush them, or trying to deliberately hide something. But after a while, the knight-errant attempts to measure the traffic in the area - just like he did out front, except this time with the added objective of looking for patterns, if he finds anything at all.

She hadn’t been in a place like this in what felt like ages.
And that chick needed some makeup lessons.
Need an hour?! She was not dressed like a prostitute! And as much as she wanted to set this lady straight, she had to remember why they were here. Her pride could wait.
Leaning against the counter, “I’m not currently working. And if I was, I wouldn’t be holding the arm of a John. Sends the wrong message.” She adds, “Was actually looking for a friend.”

The wind of his mantle twists angrily, unseen by mortal eyes. As if he, Rhodes, would need to pay for sex! And Sera did not loo like a prostitute! Hot as hell, certainly, but...... The Flowering forces his features into an amused smile.
"From the way your mind jumped to that I suspect a lot of cuckolding goes on along here. Our friend been out this way, an' we reckon he might be up to something, and we want to know what." Complimenting her story was easy. He suspected Sera was able play along easy enough, given their history.

In a fit of common sense, Circe doesn't instantly try to setup her equipment and start hacking. First she joins Abraham in trying to spot dangers. Then they can either play hacker and lookout or Buddy Burglars, whichever it may come to be.

At the finish Circe stands beside Abraham to whisper, "So did I lug this computer shit with me fer nothin' or should I start hackin' these fuckers?"
Sera and Rhodes
The lady shrugs, unbothered by the correction of her assumption. A smirk peaks out, "I don't get paid to ask questions honey." to Rhodes, "Though, if you want something more then a blank look, then I'm gonna need more then 'lookin' for a friend'." she says, press ons still clicking against the desk.
The two Fairest both notice the wall behind the women, small cubbies for keys. For the cars outside, and the windows they'd spotted open it looked like there were too many keys on the wall.
Abe and Circe
These two Fairest take their time. Searching the area. The sounds of distant engines and some birds crying into the air, permeate the area. Tires screech and sirens can be heard, Abe finds something that must be raccoon tracks, leading towards the large rusting dumpster push up against the far wall. Garbage bags piling in and around. The scent of rotting garbage in pungent. more then one bag's been ripped open.
Circe finds an unnumbered door, closer to the dumpster then the others. No windows and a faded strip of tape with weather worn marker noting it as 'Maintenance.'
Also in the future please remember to include what you're rolling in your roll.
Raccon tracks and trash. Not exactly helpful, unless you are a raccoon-shaped Beast to try and talk with them.
"You do you. Let me know if you need something" He says to the Summer Queen "I'll try to warn you if anyone comes sightseeing"
And with that, the knight-errant tries to take a somewhat undignified cover in the shadows, behind the dumpsters. It's not perfect, certainly, but still better than nothing.

I note this is the 3rd Perception roll I made in a very short time. I went with the full pool, but if there were any applicable penalties, let me know
It was hard to not notice and feel his Mantle. Absently, she gently squeezed his arm, letting him know everything was ok.
After Rhodes talks, she nods and focuses back on the woman,
“Oh, of course not! I have no doubt you treat each customer that comes through with the upmost respect and confidence. The whole don’t ask thing is well known to me.” The less you ask, the less danger you put yourself in.
“We can work with something more. What if we’re able to provide you a name and a description? Would that help you give us some information, or were you going to need something more?” she had money, that wouldn’t be a problem. Guys were easier to work with, a few bats of her lashes and a smile and she’d have what she needed.
Though she has to wonder how business was. With so many keys, how many guests could they have?
"Bene ya have my thanks," the elfin Lost nods to the Flowering as she sets up the hot spot and her computer. It takes time especially as she decides to follow Abraham's lead and try to find cover to hide in. The glow of the screen won't help with that but she is at least courteous enough to not sit in the shadows beside Abraham.

Apologies. Trying to make up for lost time doesn't validate rushing things. Thank you for the correction.
