Spring's Pool Party!

[Seraphina]

Wait, another new face?! Is that how the Freehold attracted new Lost? Have Spring host a pool party? As amusing as that was, Sera knew she had screwed up with the flyer. But, she can’t think about that now. Have to focus on the party and being the perfect hostess.

Smirking to Sonnie, “Challenge accepted!” didn’t sound too hard.

“If not, I can get some more, but I think we’ll be good.” Was Sera nervous about all the new people? Yup. But the Summers were on it, and Rhodes was helping as well.

Unfortunately, Sera didn’t have her phone on her. There was no place to keep it.

But she watches out of the corner of her eyes at how things were unfolding. The slight of Abe was a welcome one.

Was Circe wearing leaves? Well, that was a thing, though it was kinda cute.

She then spies Sasha going to sit by the pool, and Sonnie taking over the grill,

“You got this Sonnie!” she encourages with a thumbs up and grin.

Walking over to Sasha, she sits as well, “How you been?” asks the Nix, “Seems like forever since we talked.”

[Rhodes]

Swift and elegant, despite the casual Attire, the Dread Lord of Autumn gently appears next to Sera, his Mantle blustering animatedly. "My apologies for interrupting, ladies, but my associate here was hoping for some introductions. Lady Sasha, Seraphina, this is Mr Moon of the Leaden Mirror." He sweeps an arm toward the Wizened.

"Mr Moon, this is our gracious host, the ever-effervescent Seraphina of the Spring Court, and Lady Sasha, Queen of Winter, looking radiant as always," the Flowering gestures to the ladies in turn, with a flourishing smile for each. "If you do wish to work on the grill, there is Sonja, one of Springs more, Ah, enthusiastic members." He chuckles, more to himself.

Rhodes turns to look at Sera. "I've cleared Mr Moon, and we have a pledge together ensuring the Freehold safety. Few more than we expected, isn't there, darling?" he offers gently. It was clear that the public invitation had strayed far from the intended mark, and Sera must have known. Now they had to do damage control.

[Seraphina]

Smiling, “I’m sure you must enjoy having some more time to yourself?” she asks, “But if not, I’ll just have to find ways to drag you out and enjoy the warmer weather.” She noted the sigh and thought perhaps the Dancer would be lonely.

“Oh, I can’t really complain. Just been so busy with the house and the expansion to the coffee house. So it’s nice to have a day to relax and have fun.” Looking out at the pool, “Maybe in a few, I need to get some food in me, those burgers are smelling amazing!”

She felt the chill go down her spine, and already has a smile as she turns to face Rhodes,

“Not interrupting at all.” Replies the Nix.

Sapphires look to the new Lost, taking him in for a moment, “Mr Moon, pleased to meet you. Welcome!” greets the angelic voice with a friendly smile. “I hope you’re settling in well.” He had an empathic presence to him, and those eyes. They reminded her of Mhairi.

Looking back to Rhodes, she fully knew what he meant. But it could be discussed later, “There are,” she says with glance around the backyard, “But I think everything will be just fine. So long as we have enough food for everyone.” She offers as a joke.

[Sonnie Wu]

"Hello!" the monkey-tailed Beast called over from the outdoor kitchen, waving with one of the spatulas she wielded... and narrowly avoiding dripping hot grease on herself. "Oops! I'm okay!"

Sonnie grinned, "But anyway, that's me, Sonja! Nice to meet you, Mr. Moon! Cool jello mold, by the way! Dessert that wiggles is always welcome!"

"We got plenty of food. More burgers are almost ready! Hot dogs, too!" She had traded one of her spatulas in for a pair of BBQ tongs, which she used to turn the frankfurters on the grill. The Steepscrambler was quite industrious at cooking, turning out a platter stacked with sizzling burger patties and plump wieners.

Heh heh, plump wieners.

[Exegesis Agarwal]

Exegesis blinked and shook hir head, wondering why ze had been staring, transfixed, into jello for several minutes.

"I, uh, should probably sit down. Sun, ... I think."

Sorry to disappear there guys. I lost internet for several days.

[Fawkes]

As Fawkes returns to the party, he keeps his eyes to the ground.

He takes a moment to nod at Mr. Moon to show the Fall Courtier that his contribution was unmolested and being placed with the rest of the deserts Seraphina and Sonnie had set out. Pledges in place, he didn't have a reason to continue worrying. Rhodes' headache now.

Fawkes joins the Summer Courtiers by the pool

[Rhodes]

Rhodes doesn't laugh at Sera's attempt to lighten the mood. "Not my first concern, darling. But we can talk about it later."

He does, however, take a burger from Sonnie's offered plate and moves over to the drinks table, pouring himself a large scotch and dropping a few ice cubes in it.

The Dread Lord smiles as Moon acclimatizes himself and Exegesis moves to the shade. "Take care not to catch the sun. We have some suncream inside if you need it. Or Mr Moon has " He sips his scotch and sighs happily.

The Flowering looks to his Kith-mate. "Not just Iron Spears, Sir Norton. This is Mr Moon, of the Leaden Mirror," he waves a hand in Moon's direction, smiling genially, his eyes drifting over the cabal of Summers before being temporarily drawn to Sera. The bruising looked mostly gone, which was fortunate. Keeping the Nix resting was a full-time job in itself.
