Satisfied eyes found the text, and an amused smile crossed Moretti's face. Before she headed off to get ready, she tapped the one guy that she needed before leaving.
"Derek, if you want access to the laptop remotely, I'm going to need a USB or something real subtle that I can plug and let run. I'm shit with computers, so it'll need to be automatic. After that, I'll take it from here."

Derek glances up from what he is working on. "Oh, uh, right, um, just a second," he answers quickly, rummaging through his laptop bag from a throwaway USB flashdrive. He pops it into his laptop and begins clicking around the screen. After a few minutes he pops it out again and hands it to Lina.
"I've uploaded some spyware to this. Just plug it in and it should automatically install itself into the background. Once the device is connected to the internet it should allow me to remotely spy on her system. Just make sure to leave it in until the light turns red so you know it's been fully installed."
Spyware in hand, the Sheriff nodded her thanks to the Shadow. "Thanks. I'll see if I can get it installed." Given the hacker's propensity for good work, she figured it probably would be that simple. The trick was to get it into wherever they were going... which, given the insane level of security in the last place, meant that she was probably going to have to do some crazy shit like swallow the god-damned USB drive in a plastic bag or something. Talk about shitty, but she'd do what she had to...
Heading off to the Chapterhouse, Lina got to getting ready, setting to putting on the same make-up and disguise of Alicia Abernathy...

Go ahead and extend, you have the time.
A work of art took time. Time and patience, ideally, which tonight, Lina Moretti had in abundance. First, the foundation, hiding what few blemishes the eternally youthful Lina Moretti had been Embraced with. A bit of Blush. Eye shadow, but only a conservative amount. After all, she wasn't a hooker hired for a low-rent porn flick. No, this was a classy woman, wanting classy things.
It burned in the back of Lina's mind that she may well have to do what she was paid to do tonight. It didn't feel good, but then, she had the ability to infiltrate and get herself kicked out without pay. Say the wrong thing. Offend, but only just enough to make Alten realize she'd chosen the wrong choice.
Next came a little bit of concealer, a mystery covering over her skin's mysteries.
Eye shadow, to distract, lure, entice.
Finally, the lipstick, a classic red, war paint concealing her true intentions.
A classy black dress, zipping up at the back, completed the package.
Tonight, she'd be putting out fire with gasoline.
If some of the people who knew Lina well could see her now, they either wouldn't recognize her, or would straight up pass out. The ball busting, knife wielding Sheriff of Sacramento was not an absolute bombshell. She had all the pieces and parts assembled into a very expensive looking device of seduction.
As Lina makes her way to her vehicle another text arrives. This one from a different number. "Change of plans, meet me at 910 2nd Street."
That was strange. Moretti raised an eyebrow as she looked up the address to the Ambiance Lounge. Then, she noticed the change of number, the change of address. The first made sense. Her contact had been the one to send her the first number. The second, perhaps, was Alten's phone.
But this wasn't just a hook. This was the full on GFE, and so the Sheriff picked up the phone and called the second number. It was time for Alicia to be pleasant... except if it wasn't Alten and was someone else trying to throw a wrench into the mix.
"Yes?" A feminine voice comes over the line. It's not a sultry or sexy voice, but business like, direct. Lina's reminded of someone... herself.
"Ms. Alten, it's Alicia Abernathy. I thought I would call to say hello - and confirm our meeting time," she said. A smile was in her voice, the pleasant and professional persona that she had adopted during the interviews coming through.
