It was then that Ingrid arrived, and the monkey girl cheered for her Queen and clapped her hands (her tail holding her staff temporarily). "Hear ye, hear ye, the Vernal Queen has arrived! Now we can all get naked and drunk and overfed! Not necessarily in that order!" she laughed, enjoying the Emerald Monarch's showy entrance.

The Steepscrambler noticed the new arrival, and studied at the Darkling curiously. If she catches Filomina 's eye, Sonnie waves her over.

Parties were one thing, this was a little bit of extra chaos. Rich made sure to offer nods and waves where they were given, making sure not to be a total stranger, but everyone seemed to have their way of expressing themselves. It was was loud, and it was grand. However, for the moment Rich would retreat to a more relaxed part of the party while the dog pile commenced. He could say his hello’s once everyone's excitement had died down a little. Until then, he found a couple familiar faces…

Luckily Lady Exegesis' fast wits and Lady Freya's Leadbelly's worthy performance had been enough to defuse the situation. Freya had set the mood for the rest of the night.
The hobs though, the hobs were an unruly bunch, pressing and pushing for their due.
The Fairest responds to Sir Abe's comment with a genuine smile, trying to hide the traces of her embarrassment spreading to her cheeks. "Thank you", she whispers as a hob snatches the tray away from her hands, "any assistance is welcome", she says frowning at one lusty satyr who's on his third drink and had been staring at her dress a bit too long for it to be a mere coincidence. It was making her uncomfortable.

There were times when Freya's mood could be fickle. Those who knew her and had ventured into the Hedge as companions had caught glimpses of Mother Talons' darker nature. The Stalker, as she called it.

Often though the Stalker was set off by the same things as Freya's softer self, the Den Mother, with threats to her perceived family being one of them. At the sight of exasperated John, the gallant help of Abraham towards his plight... and the lustful stares leveled at Titania, Freya's feathers bristled. Certainly, it was the effect of Springs to foment desire, but when the attentions became unwanted it was best for fools to leave the Emeralds be.

Nonetheless, Abraham Norton and Titania were making good accounts of themselves. After a moment to compose, the silent Hunterheart offered them a smile and returned to her appointed task by providing music for the gathered Lost, together as they were to celebrate the coming of new seasons.

Regardless, occasional glances were directed to the bar, with Freya's avian eyes assessing what she could. If the Hobs became violent, well... the Stalker had to be ready.

Court Threads function in such a way that all PCs posting are still "present". It just reduces the chaos to break into side threads. Your PC can still overheard and react to things happening in other threads unless specific rolls and measures are taken to conceal your PC's actions!
