(1902) Let the Light Hold Back the Night

Rhodes smiles, and nods."Sometimes it is important to make sure we can stand on our own. Our freedom and independence means so much more to us."

He watches as Pierce skirts around the edges. "Yes, a lot of new faces. Well, lovely as this has been I suspect things are drawing to a close soon. Doing anything after?" the Fairest asks with a hint of a smile.

[Seraphina]

The smile was returned, “I’m glad you understand.” Some people could be pushy about insisting on helping. But not him, which was another bonus, which just kept stacking up.

Seeing that people were leaving the fire, she nods, “It does appear that way.” Though now she was looking forward to Spring’s time. More happiness. “Uh,” she looks thoughtful then shakes her head, “No, I’ve got nothing planned.” Then a coy smile, “Why, did you have something in mind?” She asks innocently enough.

Thew Autumn King doesn't speak, but nods. Everyone needed their space, their freedom.

He returns the smile. "Oh, a few ideas. Dinner, perhaps?"

[Seraphina]

Her eyes seem to light up, “Dinner? Now that sounds perfect! Any in mind or just see where fate takes us? Which is always fun.” She often did that, just walked into something caught her eye.

“Want to say goodbye or just head out?”

Sonnie returned from the Sad Memory Lane Party Game and swooped past the table of food to snag herself a plate of various edible items. Munching away, the dutiful monkey continued making her rounds with a collection of glow sticks held in the grip of her tail.

"Anybody lacking in luminescent party favors? Desperately want to shine in the dark of night? I'm your girl! Come get one while they remain in stock! Supplies are limited! Tips are welcome!"

The Beast would probably do well in a career selling peanuts at a ballpark, or hawking expensive doodads on QVC.

[Rhodes]

Rhodes shakes his head slightly. "Oh no, nothing in mind. Just walk around and spot somewhere."

He casts an eye on the splintering group. "Looks like Sasha is still entertaining. I think slipping awsy might be easiest, before everyone unwraps."

[Seraphina]

“That sounds absolutely perfect!” sometimes the best evenings cannot be planned.

Looking over as Sasha spoke, she nodded, “Good timing.” She says to Rhodes with a wink, “Come on, lets head out.” Her hand ached to reach out and grab his, but she was unsure, instead, she smiles.

Sonja watched Sera and Rhodes slip away like a couple of teenagers who's parents just left town for the weekend. The monkey grinned and nodded approvingly. After Sasha spoke, she smiled and bowed to the Onyx Queen.

"Thanks again for throwing this party, Your Highnessness!"

The Beast, naturally helped herself to a to-go box of food, stuffing it as full as she could without looking like too much of a glutton. Sonnie also happily kept several of the glow toys, namely the rings decorating her tail. Once her loot was secured, the Steepscrambler waved to everyone before she headed home for the night.
