(Witch Hunters) Regroup

[Campanella]

After the Inferno had come the Inquisition.

After the Inquisition had come the doubts: fire and fury had turned to pure survival as the impact and ramifications of the Hunter's attack hit home and slowly rippled out through the Consilium's Awakened community. Already, some members of the Arrow ( Kaze ) had begun patrolling the Circle's grounds with more regularity.

For his part Councillor Campanella opened up a planning session to deal with the fall out from the Hunter menace. Rather than add any further undue scrutiny to the Circle of Creation, the Moros offered his own well appointed flat in Downtown Sacramento. His flat had minimal magical security, it was true; but it did have anonymity. Campanella had not been among those who fought the Hunter menace. He was willing to bet that they did not yet know of his true allegiances. And his flat was well away from the Circle.

So he waited, making some final preparations for the gathering to come. He laid out food and drink for his potential guests - enough to sate their hunger, and provide a semblance of cover should any of his neighbours ask awkward questions later (the art dealer often entertained clients and potential clients, why would this be any different?).

This scene is for anyone wishing to continue with the Witch Hunter's plot. It is an opportunity to regroup and plan for the next move. Please, enjoy

[Kaze]

There is a soft knock at the door. "Hello?" Kaze's voice comes through. "I hope I am not too early?"

[Phoenyx]

Arriving up the stairs (it was good exercise to avoid elevators), Phoenyx bounded into the corridor, leather trenchcoat billowing behind her.... and there he was. Again. Kaze seemed to have a knack of being wherever she was going to be. It was actually kind of reassuring. Phoenyx began to feel herself blushing. Quit it. Quit it! He's right here!

She strolls down the corridor, looking more confident that she feels. "Hey, Kaze!" She even gives him a smile. "Is the Councillor not in?"

[Kaze]

Kaze grins at Phoenyx's arrival. "I just got here myself." he says. "Let's find out together. I just knocked."

[Campanella]

Campanella moves at last to open the door.

With fluid and polished gestures, the Moros Councillor welcomes the Awakened to his home.

"Greetings to all of you. Please, be welcome. Make yourself at home. I have some dips, finger food, and drinks available. I am very interested in what you plan to do next. What I have learned is... concerning to say the least."

He gently ushers the group inside and continues to play host, expertly pouring drinks for his guests as the settle in.

[Kaze]

Kaze smiles and says, "Thank you, Councillor." he follows the others in, bringing up the rear unless one or more of the other Arrows seems to want to be behind him in which case he precedes them without any hesitation.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx returns the nod to Alastor, with a small smile, then follows Kaze in.

"So, Councillor. I know that you have been here longer than most. If you are willing, I would like to know how these problems began, and how long they have been going on. Or if they are simply the attacks of opportunity that we have come to recognise from the enemies of the Pentacle. A litte context is often useful." Direct and to the point.

"Of course, if you want to wait for others, I understand."

[Kaze]

Kaze smiles and listens amiably, seemingly content to wait for the Councillor's reply. He glances around casually, taking in the layout, windows, other entrances or exits, seating arrangement and what snacks are set out. He stands loosely with easy flexibility near to one side and just arms length from Phoenyx.
