"It's one of this things..." Weavebreaker said with a shrug and a smile. "If they bang each other up to much, then you can have a go at me." She said with a quick glance to Phoenyx, before her eyes quickly shifted back to the fight. It was a rather good display on both ends.

[Kaze]

I believe Kaze's martial training (Kung Fu Iron Skin) provides enough resistance that the glancing impact does not harm Kaze, giving him an effective armor trait of 1 against bashing attacks only. Kaze has Defense 3 and the Life Mage Armor provides an additional 1 Armor and 1 Defense.

"Ah. Sorry." Kaze says, smoothly stepping back out of immediate range of the chain weapon, and taking a controlled breath and breathing out an Arcane Glyph into the world that infuses his skin, his eyes on Alastor the whole time, but as if looking beyond him, keeping Alastor in his peripheral vision.

Phoenyx inclined her head almost inperceptibly at Weavebreaker in agreement.

Though her head was still, the Obrimos rolled her eyes at Kaze's omission. Strikes like a blizzard but forgets to raise a shield? Sloppy.

She glanced around at the glyphs around her, making sure her own shield was in place, before returning to watching Alastor, trying to guage the unusual fighting style.

A hand raises a finger to her lip as she continues watching on.

A thought passing thought occurred to her; she had worn phantasmal armor and commanded phantasmal marionettes before - but what if that could be combined. A marionette worn as a suit of armor. A smirk traced as she gave a gentile shake of her head. She definitely wouldn't test that out today, but it would be interesting to see the potential in the future.

Weavebreaker continued to watch on, as they continued their bout.

Kaze executes a Brawling Dodge, adding Brawling 5 + Defense 3 + Life Armor Potency 2 (+1 Defense +1 Armor) + Kung Fu Iron Skin Armor 1 for total of 11.

Kaze's eyes continue to focus past Alastor and his whirling chain weapon, as if looking far into the distance, his expression pondering as if wondering why he is still standing, and whether Alastor is holding back even as his body sways and hands and arms deflect to avoid the worst of the all out attack.

Then Kaze nods, and his breathing seems to slow and calm, and his body seems to become still, only swaying gently and fluidly like a sapling in an unfelt breeze. His eyes are focused on Alastor's now, though in the same, peripheral way without direct eye contact. Kaze studies Alastor's movements and weapon, watching for an opening.

[Kaze]

Understood thanks. I was unclear, intending the Brawling Dodge to apply to Alastor's anticipated, next attack.

Kaze nods quickly, bowing out of the fighting area, facing Alastor alertly the whole time he is moving backward to stand beside Weavebreaker.

Once he is outside the fighting area, Kaze says, "Thank you, Sir."

He takes a deep breath, and breaths out a magic symbol, gesturing as if applying it to his bruise. Kaze will be completely ready at full capability if suddenly called to act.

Phoenyx nods. She looks at the baton and contemplated for a moment before taking it with her. Then she walks slowly out into the hall, takes a deep breath, and drops into a defensive stance, waiting for Alastor's attack.

Phoenix is going to try and dodge - If you want to subtract her Defense before rolling, it's 4 (Higher of Wits/Dex from Life Shield) + 2 (1 Def/1Armour from Life Shield) + 2 vs bashing attacks (Kung fu Iron skin + reinforced leather coat)
