Weavebreaker winces at the sound of the wreck, as her eyes dart to the commotion. She doesn't let it hold her attention long, as there is a pressing need to point out another aspect of this fustercluck.
"Surveillance at 10'oclock. Blue ford sedan taking photos." Weavebreaker said to Alastor, even using a finger to point out the man with the camera.
Once Weavebreaker was confident that Alastor saw what she saw, he looked back to the Firetrucks. "What happened there?"

"Spike strip," Alastor hissed. "Homemade. I'm going after the one who deployed it. Help the others or deal with the surveillance..."
Stepping outside, the soldier threw up a Scrying window over near where the spike strip had been laid to get himself a good understanding of the location of the person who had activated it. From there, he thought about his knowledge of the area and hauled ass on foot down one of the more subtle pathways he could think of to intercept...

"Fuck..." Weavebreaker said, though it was quickly followed by Atlantean, as she traced out the codified runes. Drawing down from the Aether, she armored herself in an intangible field of force; it becoming an axiom within the fallen.
With that, Weavebreaker headed out of the side of the Circle, to the street that catty-corner to the surveillance vehicle. With all the confusion, she moved at a frantic pace that was similar to the other panic-stricken sleepers, until she reached and passed the car. She listened to see if the car was running.
After she passed the car, she slowed down, cutting behind it. She looked at it from a different perspective - that of kinetic and potential energy.
Weavebreaker wanted to know she could fry the electronics if the person tried to take off. She wasn't going with anything grandiose for the approach though, she simple tapped on the driver's side window to get the photographer's attention.

Horror on Langdon's face as he sees the remains of the firetruck. Then the other three disappearing into the building. Lips tighten as Langdon jogs to the entrance the others used. Well an attempt at a jog, more like a half-assed jog from someone who doesn't exercise. Thus coughing announces Langdon's presence to the other three before he appears through the door. Jogging and smokey lungs? Yep bad idea.

Through his scrying window, Alastor is bombarded with a scene of chaos. The failing Fire Trucks lay only about thirty feet beyond the spike strip in a tangle of steel, pressurized water spraying as if from torn arteries. And, amidst it all, was a growing pool of red from the crushed and mangled firemen. A few had crawled themselves from the wreckage. One, missing his legs, sat there, stunned, while a few others tried to free their trapped companions.
And, behind them, lay the spike strip. Ducking down an alley, Alastor emerged near the metal box that had housed the spike strip.
Wits+Investigation, please!
Weavebreaker ran past the car, doing her best to blend in with the fleeing pedestrians. The lens of the camera followed her as she ran, though, and she could only imagine the frantic click of the lens' shutter as she ran past. The car, it seemed, was running.
When she circled back and tapped on the driver's side and tapped on the window, the camera lowered and a middle aged man looked at her curiously from behind a pair of spectacles. He set the camera on the passenger seat, then popped the door of his car open, and began to step out, a cane in hand.
"Can I help you?" he asked, his voice mild.

Shutting down the single Scrying window, Alastor used his approach up to the box to look around. After all, these were people willing to use a spike strip to maim and kill numerous emergency service personnel - what was to stop them from having eyes on him behind a rifle scope?
Once he had completed his threat assessment, the Mastigos got to searching the deployment box and the area for where to go next, letting his detection of minds help him if there was a particular mind needing to be chased. Correspondences to determine the connections from the box to its maker -- two silent castings required in the face of such carnage, just to be able to get it going, but it wasn't a strong spell...
Alastor had seen some shit. But nothing quite like this sort of mayhem...

"Yes please." Weavebreaker nodded softly. "All this," Weavebreaker motioned to the chaos ahead of them. "Was intentional. I saw a spike strip get dragged across the street to cause those fire trucks to wreck." Weavebreaker again motioned to the obvious.
"I don't want you to aggravate any injuries you have, you can sit...but could you?...Check the pictures you have taken and see if you caught whoever dragged the strip across the street?"
