Ingrid shared a grin with Sera, almost conspiratorial in its nature. "Yeah. I think it will be great too."
She nodded once when Alexander outlined the Freehold's loose structure. She added another when the Ashen Queen confirmed everything he had said. Her smile wavered and melted into a more neutral line. None had indicated just how powerful each position was - the Freehold was renewed; and that meant a lot of things hadn't settled yet.
The Darkling sniffed as if scenting opportunity.
"So the Freehold... Owns... Funderland?" Dollar signs almost glowed in her eyes. "So. What kind of positions are open?" A creature of shadow and light still needs to eat. Savings and finances can only stretch so far.
She continued: "Whatever. What about... The good stuff, you know? Dragon's hoard? Um. Yeah. And what about local Gates? Any places I should be wary of? Oh and yeah! Goblin Markets! Come on... Every town has at least one, right?"
The Darkling was ticking off a list in her head as she spoke.
