Alex takes another look around the club and then turn back to Green.
"So what have you been up to recently?"
He gets the sense that this will not be the most animated of conversations. Two Elementals walk into a bar and... But it beats karaoke. *shudder* He waits for Green's response and tries not to catch the attention of the talent scouts at the other end of the bar...

Sasha chuckled. "Tonight can be whatever you want. That's one of the mysteries of Winter, things can change at a moment's notice."
The Fairest paused a moment with a quick gander in the back of her mind before looking back to Sera, Mhairi and Morgan. "I can perform if you'd like as well. I've done a few jazz numbers in my time."
The Onyx wasn't concerned about Malcolm's thoughts about her performing. This was their place even if she did own it. He set it up to be wonderful and of course Sasha had no qualms about shining like a Winter. Not to mention, Katrin performed at their own parties and coronations in the past, so it wasn't that absurd.

Green had been watching Seraphina and L'aire from across the room. Now Alex was speaking and the furniture creaked as the mountain shifted his posture to better focus on his fellow Elemental. With some effort, he even managed a wicked grin.
"Um. Plotting and scheming. Yeah. Kinda not working though."
He scowled at no one in particular.
"Um. Fixing his place up. Fixing up a Hollow. Yeah. That sort of thing." He shrugged. "Moving on up in the world, I guess." The last was added as an afterthought.

"I would love to hear you sing!" while secretly she didn't think the Fairest could match her voice, she was still encouraging...and curious.
"And you too Morgan! Let's make a night of this!" and then an idea hits her, "Oh! We could totally go out some night and do karaoke somewhere! That would be so much fun!" she was practically giddy with excitement.

If The Winter Sovereign agrees to dance Mhairi'll bring them both to the dance floor, and try not to embarrass herself in front of the Freehold and the lovely Dancer that was her partner.

Pippin was late, not fashionably late, but he certainly hoped not rude late yet either. Hed gotten a late start because hed been up late working on his costume and anxiously planning for every possible reaction when he came to meet with the freehold. He stopped to take a breath when he entered the Blue Note, stunned by the attention to detail that was paid to making everything look right. This is outstanding Ive seen museums with less attention to detail paid.
He touched the red scarf of spider silk and scarlet light that was his most precious possession and tonight being used as a pocket square. Scanning the room he spotted the Dread Queen, the only person he really knew, and a group of other changelings over by the bar. He noticed her offering her hand to an enchanting blond woman in boy drag. Maybe if I hurry I can get an introduction form her before she goes off to dance.
Pippin tried his best to gracefully make his way across the room quickly but without a looking desperate. Mhairi, youre looking fantastic, where ever did you find that dress? He smiled rising a hand in a simple wave and fighting the urge to bow to the Dread Queen. Looking at no one in particular but having a hard time taking his eyes off of the enchanting blond and the gold skinned nix whom he saw step down form the stage. Im Pippin, Im new in town and Mhairi has been kind enough to let me stay at Ednas." His London accent particularly pronounced this evening and a solar flare dancing around one of his eclipse eyes.

"Heh, hic, heh," the giggle indicated Morgan had a good buzz going, so the High Ball must have kicked in. "Kay, heh, Sera I've done that, tis most funny when ye art drunk, heh. Oh, right, Imma sing now? Okay, heh, I'll do a song whilst Mhairi does a dance, heh-heh."
Morgan did one thing before she got up on the stage: she got her cell phone out and looked up a old timey song's lyrics. She found one to try.
Morgan thus was on the stage, holding the mic in one hand and looking at her phone held in the other as she tried to sing the lyrics.
The good things about having a drunken buzz was one: she didn't care that her performance was bad. And two: she wasn't so nervous she was messing up more. "Heh heh who shalt forth next?!"

"Could any of those jobs use an extra pair of hands? Anything I can help you with?"

Green looks back at Alex. His eyes grow wide for an instant, then narrow.
"Maybe I do. I gotta hear back on some stuff first, yeah? But I think I could use a wingman."
From anyone else that would have sounded pregnant with mischief. From Green its... kinda flat. More like a statement.
"You got a number I can call you on. Like a direct line or something?"
Green would love to talk more but I can see the month winding down. We can set a thread later

"Pleased to meet you Pippen, I'm Seraphina, but Sera works just fine. And love the suit!" greets the Nix, her angelic voice friendly. "Welcome! I'm staying at Edna's too, so I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point." which was true enough.
And then Morgan stakes the stage and Sera eagerly watches and listens. When the Steep Scrambler was done, she claps her hands, "Wonderful Morgan! Great job!" she cheered, knowing it wasn't easy to get on a stage and sing.
