"Hey there, stranger," says the Savage in greeting.
Konrad follows the man's previous gaze to the Prisci he has his eye on. "Trying to find someone in particular?" he asks in a non-threatening manner.
His beast lets him know another is closing in on him. He shifts around to the approching man, his beast was bigger he could feel his getting angry about that but the man didn't come off as overbearing or snobish and Daniel liked that. It drew smile to his lips the reached his eyes and helped him push down his beast.
"Hello there Mr. Roth." He looks the savage over, ~wonder if he can be fun~ he thinks. "My name is Daniel, Daniel Wells." He offers his hand giving a decent handshake if Konrad shakes his.
"I'm new in town and was looking to speak with the Daeva Priscus about staying around town. I'm also looking for some fun, and maybe... since you're over here and not chatting up the others...are kind of looking for something too?" There's no agression, but Konrad could see this was not the smaller beasts usual kind of place to hang.
Konrad's gloved hand comes out and clasps with Daniel's, disregarding shrieks from the Beast to tear it from the prey's socket. "Oh? You know me? Well, nice to meet you, Mr. Wells. For someone who is new in town you seem well-informed," he answers with a tone of suspicion.
He isn't sure if the man's hesitance is implying something but he addresses it all the same. "I'm over here because I like to keep tabs on any new faces in town. And I want to make sure you're not planning on misbehaving in Prince Clarke's Domain." Konrad tightens his grip subtly, locking eyes with the fun-searching Daeva before releasing it.
He continues, "But if you're looking for your Clan's Priscus, Mr. Cordoba is right over there," he gestures with a nod of his head. The Gangrel turns towards Juan Cordoba and brings up a hand to gain the Succubi's attention.
Whether or not Juan notices or comes over, Konrad keeps talking. "So what sort of fun are you looking for, Mr. Wells? And what sort of affiliation do you hold among our kind?"
"I like to know what I'm getting into before I get somewhere. Helps to know who to look out for. I guess, kind of like why you came over here." He shrugs, but the smile grows at the others suspicion.
"Also, I believe that planning of misbehaving should be more defined. If you mean do I plan on causing trouble for our kind and break the laws of the Prince or our kind? Then no, I don't. If you mean sell my services to people who want or need a good wheelman for what ever reasons...or some cat work. Well then, yes....yes I do." His own grip does not tighten to challenge this man's. He is the higher rank, he was the bigger monster and Daniel is used to working for others so it's no big deal and that shows on his face taking the threat seriously.
"I like...." He looks around at the party then back at the Priscus. "I like a lot of things for fun, a couple I mentioned already. but won't can't rule out loud parties with dancing, parkour, and open to see what else I can find."
"But tell me a little about yourself sir, what kinds of things do you like to do?"
Konrad's brow raises in surprise at the mention of being a wheelman. And the term 'cat work' isn't unfamiliar to him. Konrad readjusts his stance, shifting weight onto one leg and folding his arms in front of himself idly as he considers something.
"That so..." he says thoughtfully. "Well, I'm Priscus for Clan Gangrel and member of the Carthian Movement for starters. But what I like to do is make deals. Think of me as a broker of sorts. I've got connections with the Black Market in this city so I tend to be the go to guy for stuff Kindred can't normally get their hands on. Mind if I ask where you came from before coming here, Mr. Wells?" He brings a hand up to his chin, rubbing the stubble there habitually as the gears in his head start to turn.
His smile stays in place watching the suspicion fall away to figuring a way to take advantage of this meeting and make some money. It was fine for Daniel, as long as he made money, had fun and he wasn't used as fodder. Then things would get ugly, but hey everyone deserves a chance.
"Would you prefer me to use your title then Priscus Roth?" He guessed that was what was being implied since the man had brought it up. Though the Carthian part was new information, good to know. "I don't usually need anything from the black market myself. But if you or your contacts need some stuff moved, including people I could be willing to help you out. For pay of course." ~Yes this could be very mutually beneficial for us.~ He thinks.
"Up and down the coast really. Seattle down to San Diego. I liked the traveling but figured it was time to find a base of operations and actually have a place to call mine. So, you like to make deals....does your dealing include getting us into some underground casino's? Or maybe you'd like to come to some of the street races and join me in a race or two so you can see my work and think more on how to take advantage of it?" His smile is friendly, casual just like his body still resting against the wall. Inside though, his beast still didn't like being next to the bigger beast....but now, it smelled that it could have fun because of it. So it settled down just a bit.

After having talked with the Carthian Myrmidon, a female kindred with an angelic face made her way towards the gangrel priscus and the mysterious kindred he was socializing with. After arriving at their side, she felt appropriate to introduce herself.
"Good evening Priscus Roth." To Konrad. "Sir." To the other kindred which she didn't know the name.
"Hello again priscus, the night is still young, do you both mind if we share a little bit of it together."
Then turning to Daniel."As I said to Priscus Roth earlier, my name is Gabrielle d'Orleans of the Toreador Bloodline. Nice to meet you sir."
"No one ever thinks they need it till they need it, but I'll keep that in mind in case I do," comments Konrad, still unsure what to make of the unproven Kindred. He seems to come across as a little loud-mouthed, but then Konrad had his moment as well. When you were good at something you got confident.
His eyes narrow as he prepares to continue when the woman from earlier approaches the pair. "Oh, hey Gabrielle. Nah, you're fine. I was just chatting with another newcomer, Daniel, here. Bloodline, huh? What's that about?" he asks, turning his attention to the Daeva woman. The pressure of her still unfamiliar Beast bears down on him, urging his own to assert his dominance.
His smile hardens for a second as another beast comes up to him. Another bigger beast, pretty and worth the long look from her feet to her eyes. Then his smile relaxes as his beast eases down. He moves away from the wall to take the woman...Gabrielle's hand. He lifts it and also bows a bit though keeps his eyes on the duo before him he places a gentle kiss on her knuckles before slowly letting go (if she allows him too, otherwise it's just a handshake). "It's always so nice to meet one of my beautiful cousins." He smiles and then resumes his position against the wall.
"I'm afraid I don't belong to any prestigious bloodlines myself. But my name is Daniel, I'm also a Daeva." He looks to Konrad.
"Priscus Roth, a bloodline is like what you would think of in the mortals royalty. She is Daeva, but because of her family tree she may have developed different....abilities. And I quite agree that people tend not know what they need, until it's too late or close to it. Not that you are of course. But I'm glad to have put my name in the hat at least in case something comes up."

Gabrielle opposed no resistance when Daniel took her hand before placing a kiss on her knuckles. Her beast was partially soothed when the lower one showed some deferance to her. Besides, she was a sucker for a kind man with a pretty face.
"Well, what do you know. A true, genuine gentleman. Very pleased to make your acquaintance Daniel. Always happy to see a cousin."
A by that, she meant another Daeva, though the way she said it left little to interpretation. Turning to Konrad, she felt appropriate to acknowledge Daniel explanations.
"My cousin Daniel is quite right in his explanations. A bloodline is a refinement of the vitae that allows the blood further talents as Daniel so aplty described it."
She then turned to the newly come Daeva.
"I guess you and I are in the same situation, though I may be wrong. I have just arrived in the city of Sacramento. I, for myself, comes from France, Toulouse to be more precise."
Finally adressing both Kindred.
"We didn't have much time to socialize earlier priscus Roth, and I've just met you Daniel. I was hoping we could get to know each other better. Why don't you tell me more about yourselves so that I can return the favor?"
