Einstein nodded along as Asp spoke, only really understanding about half of it. Who the hell was Star? But, as far as she could tell, the conversation wasn't meant for her, so she kept smiling and nodding, until Asp mentioned Avis. "Oh, she was the Mastigos Councilor?" Uh-oh, they'd annoyed her. There was a moment of political panic as Einstein considered the repercussions, then she paused. Wait. She didn't care anymore. Libertines shouldn't give two damns about the Consilium's employees.

Jonokuchi strode into the Bismark with an unappealing and anti-social chip on his shoulder. The taxi he had booked had not arrived, causing the Mastigos to almost tear open a portal straight into the heart of the Consilium gathering.
Almost. A moment to breath, to calm his mind was all it had taken. He had simply called once again and patiently waited. Still, the ride over had been fraught, with the retired sumo not tipping his driver in any way. Not even a thank you.
And so, wearing a kimono of teal and white, the second Sentinel of the evening paused at the doorway, leaning heavy on his staff, eyes gazing over every single soul in the room; a literal giant of old legend. His face, stoic. His demeanour?
To quote a good friend; pissed off.
He took up position just inside the door. Right now, Jonokuchi needed to rid himself of the frustration plaguing his mind.

He wasn't late.
You can't be late when you're not obligated to even be somewhere. True Story, yo. It had taken him a while, to figure it out. There's this thing, when you live with other people, where background noise is totally filtered out, but is totally part of the norm. So even though you filter it out, when it's gone, whoah, who turned off the sound?
Even The Cat knew. And he and The Cat could only stare at each other for so long. Both thinking the same thing. Bound in the camaraderie of the unwillingly damned. He may or may not have found it Totally Funny to walk out on The Cat. Who's stuck like Chuck now? It didn't take a rocket scientist, or even a text to figure out where everyone was. Ree. Spon. Suh. Bill. It. Ees. Lack of, file under Deadmau5 t-shirt. This was his lucky shirt. The bloody mouse face was a badge from the crucible of being anointed the Sharpest Wit in Sacramento.
He parked his bike next to the Awesomest Van Ever. See? And was he checking to see if everyone was headwear appropriate? Nah. Some things, you just know. Because if some things weren't True, then there just wasn't any point at all.
"Dude. I like that blue. Except, it's probably more indigo. Did you know there was an Indigo Revolt? Totally, man. But that was a long time ago. Most indigo now is used in blue jeans, so, like, if there was an Indigo Revolt today, then everyone would, I dunno, be wearing just jeans. Not, like, blue jeans. But that stuff could still be going on, you know. All the stuff behind the Indigo Revolt?"
Was he talking to the sumo? Yeah. That was a Whole Lotta Indigo.
"It's kind of weird to think that, maybe, fashion is oppressive."
True Story. That's right. That kimono could have killed someone. Think khakis. Another True Story? People he liked, liked this guy. So, words. Because curious.
"I'm Star. You're Jonokuchi , right?"
Be a little embarrassing if it wasn't. Or if he'd said it wrong.
Mace departed with Bishop. Ermac picked up some food and sat down at a table to eat. He was content simply to be available to address any concerns be it Path or Order related.

She walks not long after Star and looks around the room. Decent turnout for an informal meeting. She's wearing leopard print tonight. Why the hell not. Why buy it if you're not going to wear it.
There are groups of people huddled around talking to each other all over the place. Except for one. Either the computer IT guy is less popular than she'd thought, or he was just on his own. She liked being on her own, but at least they could do it from the same table. She doesn't even need to talk. She just smiles and sits. Content to let Ermac speak if he wants, or to let him keep his silence.
She's there because she needs to be. Three months between formal meetings is both the perfect amount of time and too long. She needs to be visible and accessible for any new transplants, and just as visible and accessible for those who've been here for ages. But, not having any business she needs to complete here immediately, she can appreciate the quiet or not.

Bishop waved Mace off and took his food to another table, sitting down and looking through the room. It was unlikely, that anybody seriously needed a Guardian representative, but it was good to get out of the sanctum every once in a while. He was also curious, what state the Lex was in currently, but he wouldn't pry or press the matter. Official consiliar meetings existed for that reason.
So he relaxed and enjoyed eating.

She looks up as her mutual silence is disrupted, but not rudely. It's exactly why she's here.
"Sure, what do you need?"

Pepper nodded, "It's about Panthera Nox. I was wondering if you wanted to do the honors of getting us Recognized in the Consilium or if it'd be better if I did?" She sighed and shook her head slightly. "Really, I ought to have told Crowley last time... but I sort of wanted you to?"
