Finally the hunt for an apartment had ended. It had only been a few months but it felt like forever. Finding a place within her budget that met her must have list made it harder. Thank goodness she had her savings account to help her since she hadn't been performing since her arrival to the city. She sat crossed legged on the empty hardwood floor of her living room, she looked around with a wistful smile. This was her place, her own personal space, free for her to decorate to her liking. She had apartments in the past, but this one felt different, like she knew she would be here for the long run.

It had two bedrooms, which would serve her needs nicely. The extra bedroom would be turned into her practice area for readings and maybe a few of her acts. Well, the non-fire acts, wouldn't want to burn down the building. There wasn’t much of a view, the apartment complex parking lot being right outside the sliding glass doors. But she didn’t mind. The bathroom wasn’t very big, but it had a bathtub, and she couldn’t wait to light candles and relax in a hot bath.

She had no furniture. Second hand furniture had character she thought, and she loved the treasures one could find at flea markets and second hand stores. She sat and fantasized about some of the furniture she might find like to have. She would defiantly need throw rugs, as there was no carpet in the apartment. Her blue eyes looked around the living room, trying to form a picture in her mind of how she wanted to decorate. Maybe wistful colors and billowing curtains, soft fabrics and couches that swallowed you in their cushions.

And her bedroom? Perhaps a poster style bed, with lace curtains and white christmas lights wrapped around the poles. Or maybe instead of white, a soft blue or green color.
