For a reference point in your search for a Hallow, you are in front of the California State Railway museum. 2 ley lines seem to intersect directly beneath the building, one flowing South by East and the other Southeast. They also seem to flow upstream in the opposite directions.

You are completely lost. Like, hopelessly, irredeemably lost. There's some big building and railways coming into view ahead, but you have no idea where you are or which way you should be going. You are surrounded by buildings with no helpful markers in helping to orient yourself.

"We don't want to go south. In either direction. Those spots are taken," Avis said, checking a few landmarks to make sure she had her bearings right. "Why, want pointed you those directions?"

"There's a, uh," he paused to look around to make sure no one could overhear.

"A, uh, line. Sometimes you can find A Thing where lines cross. I'm thinking, if south is claimed, then, north?"

"... the museum is south," Mandy piped up, a twinkle in her eye as she looked rather excited, actually. "Is it taken? Do we know? Because really... MUSEUM..." She was pointedly excited at the notion, giving each of them a perfectly excitable look. "Guys that's totally lucky..." Persuasion time. "Do you know how much work and luck goes into finding ancient artifacts and..."

... she was never going to sell them on this. She needed to remember precisely who she was dealing with. Children. As she trailed off, a pout settled on her features. Her arms crossed for a moment as she distinctly sulked. She didn't like not being able to rely on information she'd studied and collected - there was so much to study! So much information hidden there! - but she fidgeted with her choker for a few moments as she contemplated what else could make this easier. Because seriously, her ability to spend a lot of time with these three on some hunt was...

... well, it was best kept to a minimum, anyway.

"Yeah, the Wings have it," Avis shot back, sounding amused. For just a brief moment the archeologist had seemed as happy as Avis could ever imagine her being. It was good to see her excited about something, even if that was just more archeology.

"You regretting not joining their club now?" she teased.

Museums, huh? File that next to 'public parks' over things that got Handy Mandy excited.

He couldn't help it. He laughed. He pointed. Museums are 'lucky'. Hilarious. Straw, meet grasping hand.

Of course the Wings had it. Probably built it. Just like the Talons had a concrete fortress. Given Mandy's dim view of the Wings, that was probably not something to harp on. Whoops... apparently Avis didn't think so.

Mandy got a sympathetic look, but it was all Totally Not About To Crack Up by the time his eyes reached Avis.

He started walking, turning to walk backwards to make sure they were coming. Please. Gonna look silly if not.

The expression she shot Avis was not one that was remotely amused. "No. Not in the slightest." But it was good to know that that was where they hid shit. Fucking Mysterium. They always ruined everything.

"Fine. North." She was still sulking for damn sure. 'The Look' was evenly shared around the group for a moment as she started on her trek north, and while she had a hundred and one things she could tell the little snake chick about Egypt, she refrained. She was still sulking. She needed to be sure that was clear, at least. Distinctly clear.
