Apparently Edwin Bridges had that effect on people. Good to know!

There was a wink and a subtle movement to get closer to the Lord.

”Although I must confess the stories of my youth aren’t even half as fun… I never did anything as exciting as exploding my motorcycle…” At least not that she could tell without raising any suspicion, they had to keep appearances, the Masquerade was the first tradition for a very good reason.

Open for one and half month, time to close this. Velma and Edwin can always meet another time privately to talk more. You are given a couple days to wrap things up.

"Many people do," Edwin chuckled to Velma's comment and his eyebrow raised slightly, obviously, to the wink. Although, he'd certainly fallen for beautiful, seductive women before, and they would no doubt be the Final Death of him.

"I'm sure your stories are just as exciting, Ms. Star, perhaps one night we could go for a meal together?" he asked, the rest of the world seemingly forgotten for the moment. He was on a roll and wasn't about to let anyone else get in his way.

”A meal? Sounds like a wonderful idea!” Velma bit the tip of her finger. Delicious!

”I look forward to hear news from you Mr. Bridges, now if you excuse me, I need to attend to the festivities.” With a polite nod Velma moves on to attend to her duties as Mistress of Ceremonies of Club Ember
