That gorgeous woman. Whom Aileen only saw once briefly many months ago, nonchalantly lifting inhuman loads and fighting with Callum McCann, suddenly springs to the Mekhet's mind. There is an urgent pull, a supernatural desire to be where she is, coupled with the instinctual knowledge of that location.

The hows and the whys don't really matter at first. Aileen knows that it must be done, and that she intends to do it.
