The thing about the odd pattern of bodies as they had been appearing around the Consillium in the past year was that they actually rotated through all of the Paths as well as all of the orders, apostate withstanding.

First there was Spade, who was better known as Rosh, a Free Councilor of the Obrimos Path. Then there was Qadesh, a Mastigos of the Silver Ladder. Then Mike Tamwood, a Moros Arrow, then Jack Falley an Acanthus of the Mysterium.

There were some who correctly identified that only a Guardian of the Veil who was a Thyrsus would remain. This is what led the search for the missing Triquetra. After some significant struggle on behalf of the Epopt, Ariadne , the body was finally located.

Now the Morgue is mostly clean with two gurneys covered in clean white sheets awaiting identification from parents or relatives or friends. They have been relatively stationary for days.

Even so through one means or another the characters have gotten access to the bodies, if for only viewing purposes.

There are two bodies here, the medical examiner looks relatively familiar to you, but probably just has one of those faces. For the sake of discussion there shall be a Body A, which will be on the left gurney, and a Body B on the right. You may indicate which body is in discussion through that means.

Any spells that aren't cast onsite need to have duration factors added into them. Any other opening rolls you intend to make, feel free to do those as well.

Orpheus had more or less tuned reality out as he went onto one of his run on thought trains. After the... unenlightening lead that was the tainted tass knives the Mystagogue had concluded that he would need some more outside information before he could make heads or tails of that lead. Only problem was, in boxing himself off to study the knives he'd fallen behind on the investigations into other leads.

Not knowing whether anyone had the time to fill him in Orpheus had simply gone to the Morgue in the hopes that one of the other consilium mages would be here looking into the same thing so he could bounce ideas off of them and vice versa.

Because quite frankly, Orpheus felt like he was either missing something or running out of options.

Leo returned from the bathroom where he had cast his rotes. It wasn't the most subtle, but he was in the stall and didn't use High Speech, so it wasn't anything to worry about. Probably.

He took a place by Orpheus with a nod to greet him. He turned his head to listen to the medical examiner, anxious to find the cause of death.

[Ariadne]

Ariadne walks into the morgue and gives it a once over. Ugly place. She pointedly ignores the two bodies as she walks over to the two mages she knows. Her suit clean and pressed. Orderly. Her offering for Triquetra.

The Epopt crosses her arms as she comes to a stop. Looking between the two mages her calm expression is clearly forced, hints of dried tears blur the edges of her eyes where make up had been touched. The walk down to the morgue had been slow, willworking and remaining calm had been Ariadne's only objective.

[Ermon]

Ermon trails in shortly after Ariadne. Medical examinations and detective work weren’t really his forte but when a Cabal-mate needs help you need to own up to it and do what you can.

The chef is wearing casual clothes and athletic shoes, signs of weariness showing on his face. He takes cheap-ass rental to the morgue, leaving his lock-pick set behind in it.

His gaze lingers on the bodies before moving towards the other mages. The Warlock nods, leaving it to Ariadne to start the introductions.

As the Mages are escorted through the Police Precinct where the Morgue is, of course they are being watched at all times and at the few moments that the rush of Magic flows through the building, anyone who has Magical Affinity can feel it in the nearby area.


The two gurneys were stretched out with the sheets covering the bodies the M.E. Looks at Gamble "Two Jane Does, Hopefully we can ID them today, no one else seems to know who they are." he picks up a plastic clipboard and looks at those who are in the area: The Financial Adviser, the Cook, The Youngster, The Engineer, and the SWAT Officer.

"Which Body do you want to start with, then?" he asks as he steps between the two gurneys.

Walking around the city with spells hanging in his Pattern didn't really seem to Ermon like a good idea, so he casts the necessary spells when he is inside the morgue. It takes some trying but he gets it done.
